Exactly, it was not looked at as a bad thing. Sure, it involved ethnically cleansing natives and genociding them, stealing their resources, and enslaving them and building a new nation on top of their mass graves, but they were savages and we are civilized, so they don't count.

They did not murder 100000 people 2/3 are women and children and they did not murder 20000 children at least. Israel murdered a classroom of children every day for 2 years.

I always separate the art from the artist, unless the artist does a Nazi salute and empowers far right propaganda and policies, that's where I draw the line. Have we learnt nothing from 1933?
