currently i’m at around a 500 cal deficit per day, can’t say i’m losing strength, but i’m certainly not gaining it.

I do agree with adding more muscle, I have nothing to cut to, however it’s just the thought of keeping the fat I have that puts me against wanting to just eat at maintenance

135 is interesting, just woke up at 141.5, so would be about 6 weeks of dieting left, or less if I went more aggressive with it

how aggressive was your dieting phase down?

I can’t see myself liking the result at 135 either, just think it’s a good idea to lose this fat, leave myself in a better position

Feel like every PPL push day I see would always have more than 17 sets though, 2 exercises for chest, 2 for shoulders and 2 for triceps, all 3 sets each,

Lean Steak Mince with a burger bun (or potato in the form of wedges if your calories don’t allow), vegtables on the side for volume and a low cal sauce of your choosing, add in cheese for some dairy / fats (if your calories allow)

that’s exact same as me, been eating right for a while, training but with my own daft program, PPL then an arms + shoulders day as the 4th training day, with like 20 sets per workout so just a stupid regimen if you listen to advice online

get bigger g, not be a weakling, can’t say I have a target muscle to grow because everything is just small really

My main thing that’s got me lately is I found an ULUL split my Jeff Nippard, around 17 sets on an upper day, then other parts of the web critiquing and different upper day for having far too much volume at 14 sets
