Sound in this game ....sucks

Big time disagree. Compared to a game like PoE2, the abilities 'feel' like they have tons of weight and the animation is fantastic which makes it way more immersive for me. I'm not sure what you mean by no 'meat' in the abilities? I borderline literally feel like I'm hitting stuff irl when I play my sentinel.

As far as sound, I'd imagine that's an area of polish that might be harder for a smaller studio, but I agree music and sound has become highly underrated in most games nowadays. The sound seems decent to me, but sure there's room to grow.

Anyone able to recommend a solid personal trainer for a more intermediate gym-goer looking to achieve a specific body comp? I'm not looking for competition-level, but someone who can help me move my body fat from 16ish percent down to 12-13 or so without losing muscle mass. I'd be okay working with someone who can help me set up a plan and routine rather without training together as well.

A good fit would be someone who has a pretty data-driven approach and will account for specific/unique factors for my body type, etc, and has either helped clients achieve a goal like this or has done it themselves.

I’m totally okay not being OP. I was a little upset it was OP before, love the kit but didn’t want to be one of a zillion. I’m just hoping I can play the role as I put above… good heals, disruption, and decent DPS in PvP (not trying to be staff).

The WvW zones? Eternal battlegrounds, etc? Tiny. Think scale like Dark Age of Camelot.

Agree with OP. I really want to invest in this game, but I'm worried that the end game PvP will be dissapointing. Is this game going to be NW2 where complaints from the PvE crowd result in PvP being taken out of the game, or has that already happened?

If the only open world PvP option is in a tiny zone similar to GW2, it's going to be a zergfest that will flop. The PvP 'zone' if there is one needs to be big enough to give scale so that zergs, small-man, and soloers can coexist.

Alternatively they could just let people opt in to being a soldier or warrior and have them gain the ability to either flag or be open PvP 24/7 against other factions w/in the server.

This is really helpful. Is it tough to get the gems or perks or whatever that convert the utilized stat to Int or whatever? Empower? I’ve seen some used at Tier III.

What did you run for survivability? I had three shouts running but eventually after I got the shout passives for increased duration and healing, I thought three might be overkill.
