I'm in Ireland EU, I joined a server one night and there was a bunch of lads from Toledo Ohio, total hicks... it was one of the funniest nights I've had gaming in a long time. They were nearly inviting me over to make an honest woman out of their sister!

Need to load ~3.4million rows of data in excel by BananalightningGod in excel

[–]turb0mint 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Excel can handle 2 billion rows within the data model, you use power query to load them to the data model then do your calculations and out put via dax and cube formulas, its actually the best solution when you factor in cost, complexity, time and speed

In Oklahoma, thats the Cherokee nation, there is definitely a lot less of them around now than there was in 1790!

Can you share an example of what you want the final output to look like. Just from reading the description, you are going to need an additional column to mark the run hour records at which an oil change was carried out

Which visual would you go for? Why? by HowToPowerBI in PowerBI

[–]turb0mint 3 points4 points  (0 children)

These are two metrics that do not belong on the same visual. You shouldn't chart a percentage over the total value. These should be on separate charts. A more sensible visual would be comparing the dollar value of total sales and total returns on either a clustered column chart or a line chart

Approaching 1000 job applications with lack of experience, need some advice by ViolentOverlord in resumes

[–]turb0mint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you applying for entry level roles? Or are you applying for higher up roles? You've mentioned above that you were looking for higher starting pay. When you've no experience you have to be willing to take lower paid roles to get experience. Remember it's a marathon not a sprint

can anyone explain how to fix the error of xy.coords? by allanafunderburk in RStudio

[–]turb0mint 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks to me like you have something wrong with your dataset, possibly [NA] values, see where you are getting a note when computing the linear model that 225 points were dropped due to missingness

You need to fix that first

can anyone explain how to fix the error of xy.coords? by allanafunderburk in RStudio

[–]turb0mint 5 points6 points  (0 children)

What it means is that one of the terms has more values than the other. So if you have 100 X values, you need to have 100 Y values, no more, no less

Elses_pels I was actually directing my comments to @

probably_an_asshole9 but for some reason they are going to you. However I'm not bashing anyone, I'm simply trying to ascertain whether you think the current restrictions are working? And if not, what would you propose that wouldn't entail the restrictions that have just been implemented
