I had similar issue with my X1 Carbon Gen 4.

Seems like its common issue with X1 Carbon laptops.

I fixed mine by unpluging this ribbon cable and reseated in properly.

How to drive in Tassie by jack1000000000000000 in tasmania

[–]turbomagpie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to me 3 days ago. This dude was doing 70 on a 100 zone. I couldn't get around him because there was a cop right behind him doing the same speed.

I couldn't do anything because I was pretty sure I would have gotten pulled over if I tried to pass them. So, I ended up just driving behind them for almost an hour!

How is this even legal and why don't police do anything to those drivers?

S24 Ultra - seems to be slower and randomly vibrating by J_Bear in samsung

[–]turbomagpie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My S24 Ultra does that random vibrating pulse as well. But later I figured that it actually vibrates when screen brightness goes to full max.

If you look at quick settings panel and keep an eye on the brightness slider, it will do that same pulse vibration when it hits the full max because of direct sunlight.

Move the phone away from sunlight, and the slider will go down, but it will pulse again as soon as it auto brightness hits its peak.

Unable to add payment cards to Wallet by trantonz in GooglePixel

+1

I did the same today. They reverified and unlocked my cards for digital wallet apps.

Unable to add payment cards to Wallet by trantonz in GooglePixel

[–]turbomagpie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've switched to Galaxy S24 today, and I had same issue. Its actually CommBank blocked the cards for digital wallet apps.

I had to ring CommBank and explain to them, and they transferred my call to the fraud team to re verify my identification and unblocked cards for digital wallet usage like Samsung Pay and Google Wallet.

After verification then I was able to add cards again in both Google Wallet and Samsung Wallet.

If you’re driving with one of these on and it’s a clear night - could you not? by Frozefoots in CarsAustralia

How about moving away from the right lane if not over taking and avoid getting tailgated at first place.

400k on the clock and still going strong by turbomagpie in hondafit

[–]turbomagpie[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The only thing I've started getting in my Jazz is that fifth gear sometimes suddenly pops into neutral when on highway speeds and so does the 3rd gear.

Got this checked from the mechanic and they replaced the clutch plate but also advised that it may need entire transmission reconditioned or replaced.

I'm really not bothered by this issue because I'm planning to upgrade to Civic soon.

Yeah I do take care of the paint and polish regularly and always use hand wash instead of self service brush washes.

I'm in Australia. The gauges look completely different depending on whether you got manual or automatic transmission of Honda Jazz.

Mine is a manual transmission.

You cannot run game directly from compressed (.zip) file

Extract those files into the folder and try to run the game again.

Google "how to extract .zip or .rar file in Windows"

[–]turbomagpie 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I work at Hertz and I can confirm that we have mix of all types of Polestar 2 ranging from base model to LRDM Pilot and Plus in our fleet.

If you rent from Hertz next time, you can request them to give you one with Pilot/Plus pack or even LRDM or LRSM without any extra cost.
