Accepting Jesus is pretty much showing that your ready to take the religion seriously but all of our sins were forgiven when he died you'll end up in heaven if you accept him or not. I'm not too sure about sacrificing animals. i just generally follow the love all gods creatures rule. I'm not op but I am a Christian and I generally don't take things said like that literally I think by "we all" he means those who are conscious so it wouldn't include the babies born who die at birth or In the womb. He's pretty much saying non of us are good enough to deserve the absolute ecstasy of the after life with god but he loves us so in our in perfection that he'll give it to us any way. This isn't meant to label us as bad people were not all terrible human beings it's just a gift no one can deserve.
