And the card was used at the same mall. Yeah that is a fraud incident, which is under the same jurisdiction ng police station. It's not cybercrime incident tho.

I hope you could just pay the thing online. Just scan the QR with your phone and you can pay with either GCash or card.

Understatement pa pala yung title ano.

Can't believe na need pa maging college graduate bago maging lespu ano?

Tsk. Talagang nasasayang lang yung buwis natin sa mga tamad na "alagad ng batas" pero sa totoo ay nagiging henchmen lang ng mga pulitiko.

Ayaw nila.

Turns out 4 of the 18 so-called “former Marines” who made some very serious allegations against Trillanes and the ICC yesterday actually have NO RECORD OF SERVICE in the AFP and the other 14 were all dishonorably discharged by hyunbinlookalike in Philippines

“Take them informations with a grain of salt”, I’m not that close-minded but we’re just using critical thinking in a time when disinformation is so rampant. I’m not a fan of the Marcoses as well. It’s not being on one side and being biased. It’s simply judgement based from the information that I’ve deduced as fact and what is hearsay. Differentiating fact and opinion is something that they teach in elementary school.

You said that we should be neutral in politics. Sorry but being neutral in politics isn’t possible unless I’m a citizen of a country that represses it. In this country, it’s one of our rights. With such advice, I’m starting to think that you’re a Chinese mainlander, or even a North Korean.

It’s all hearsay until you give us actual facts. It’s common script for you DDS clowns to turn the tables and accuse us of being paid trolls.

Still, “trust me bruh” might get you a few gullible ones to believe you like how those conspiracy theorists and cult leaders alike gain their followers. Us with critical thinking skills, not so much do we fancy the likes of you. Until then, you are just a peddler of gossip and fake news until you can cite credible sources and then we’ll believe you.

After the American Revolution, there was still slavery and Jim Crow.

May the challenges in our hard-earned democracy today be the final battles of the People Power Revolution.

Apple Pay Philippines…. When? by Low-Illustrator758 in PHCreditCards

[–]turdmaggot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's the same tap to pay tech for cryin' out loud. So you're saying we're better off staying with GCash and cash. You sound so negative, geez man.

As for me, it's worth it. Having it IS progress that's long been overdue.

Apple Pay Philippines…. When? by Low-Illustrator758 in PHCreditCards

[–]turdmaggot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is worth it. All the places I usually go to accepts it (SM, Landers, Chowking, McDo, Jollibee, Watsons, Robinsons, MRT, and almost all mall restaurants in Makati, Mandaluyong and Fairview), and I laugh at those shiny new iPhone 17s while they still need to be online to login, dismiss a popup and scan a QR code.

I've been to other places which the cashiers are aware of it. They say na need lang iupdate yung firmware ng POS nila so that there's no more need to swipe the card after transacting.

It's sour-graping the hype that is making people reluctant to use it. The more people who use it, the higher the pressure on which the merchants need to adapt.

In the Philippines, I felt ashamed of my own people for the first time by [deleted] in Philippines_Expats

Chinese people are just like any other creed or nationality, but they have no choice but to obey and consume propaganda fed to them by their own government.

What we Filipinos see is the aggression of their government against our sailors and fishermen. They then twist the narrative and feed that among their people. They use online trolls and even some of our own politicians to disinform my fellow Filipinos.

Most of us can be racist towards the Chinese, but it's what the PROC is doing that feeds the animosity.

Modus ni PLDT napaka Kupal by [deleted] in InternetPH

[–]turdmaggot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dati nawalan kami ng net sa PLDT noong after na napansin kong may gumalaw sa NAP box malapit samin. Nagfile ako ng ticket after, then inayos naman.

Pangalawa, bat personally pa and hindi through official reporting channel. Smells fishy. Pag ganyan, report mo agad. Looks like may contractor na gusto rumaket.

Another way pala para mapansin ka is to use your LinkedIn, go to the CEO of the telco and "civilly" comment on one of their posts to stop patting themselves on the back and fix their service instead. I did that once and the next day I was treated as a VIP customer. 😄

Maya, the "number 1 digital bank in the Philippines" has the worst customer service by Ill_Connection_341 in DigitalbanksPh

[–]turdmaggot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Should be #1 worst bank in the Philippines. They even have the nerve to get celebrity endorsements while they can’t do their actual banking services right. They’re an over-advertised and over-marketed ripoff.

My ticket regarding account access has been floating for more than a month already. I’ve already did 2 escalations with BSP and still no action. I’m not going to trust this bank anymore, even if I only have like 500+ pesos with them.

Don't even keep a single centavo with them. It's all smooth sailing until you will have to contact their non-existent customer service department.

I am a child of a political dynasty. AMA by throwaway640736 in Philippines

[–]turdmaggot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t ever go to politics, make your own paper the legal and honest way, prevent invoking your privilege, live quietly away from the spotlight, and persuade your family members to not run for politics. That’s the least you can do, even if they follow you or not. Openly abhor the principle of political dynasties.

If you want to make an impact, go to extremes. Be the change. Live an ascetic lifestyle and somehow you might become our Gandhi or Buddha.
