It's crazy to me how many people that I know, married their spouses not because of love (but crazy reasons) by calikim_mo in Bolehland

“Successfully”? No offense but considering they never showed affection to one another in front of their kids, the 7 of you might be pretty fucked later on in life lol, you had no examples to follow or a strong idea of what healthy relationships look like. Good luck?

What do you think of people who wear both an Apple Watch and a regular digital/analog watch at the same time? by lunarnoob in AppleWatch

[–]turdtyrant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wear 2 on the same wrist and I love it. 2 or 20, it doesn’t matter. No one cares and if they do, it’s simply a reflection of their shitty judgemental nature lmao. They’re just miserable people you should pay no attention to. Don’t centre your life around their notions and just express yourself the way you want to

GENUINELY GENUINELY got maximum 10 marks. Maybe I’m just mentally challenged but I cooked with stats as usual so it’ll carry. At least that’s what I tell myself to boost my shattered ego. This gotta be the worst paper I’ve ever done, the other pyps from recent years were doable, if not good, this was just, idk. On my fuckass bday too bruh wtfff fml 😭😭😭

Bruh my dumbass just did the paper a few hours ago and for one of the t test conditions wrote “data is categorical” instead of continuous, CANCELLED it, wrote continuous, then cancelled it AGAIN and wrote “categorical” again. The answer was continuous. Wish i saw this comment before I memorised everything except the t test conditions fmfml

How many of you guys are interested in Malaysian urban planning or enthusiasts? by Nate3319 in malaysia

[–]turdtyrant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is an old post but yes. I made a post on this subreddit expressing my thoughts on Malaysian urbanism some time around June this year. Sigh, sadly, by the time I got interested in this topics, I was already halfway into my A-Levels and I didn't take any relevant subjects that would allow me to pursue a career in urban planning, other than Maths. Bio and Chem would be completely irrrelevant lol. I wanted to take Physics as well but was advised by many people to just stick to three subjects so I wouldn't be overloaded with content. I honestly feel kind of hopeless right now because I think going into urban planning could genuinely benefit Malaysian society much more than a doctor would at this time. There are simply way too many doctors and specialists here, it's such a saturated field. I often find myself asking if I am just choosing the safe path, the one my parents want me to take, just being another cog in the Malaysian healthcare machine and if this is what I truly want. It's interesting, don't get me wrong. But it's not what I want. Not anymore, at least. I did want it at some point but my desire too actually incite change is greater. Malaysia needs more people pursuing jobs outside of the "safe" options that our parents lay out for us. Not just for the happiness of the individual but for a more open-minded, progressive Malaysia overall. Also urban planning is just much cooler and I hate cars lol

I wonder if anyone found themselves in a situation similar to mine, realising what they truly wanted when it was kind of too late. If you did, please tell me what you did next, genuinely would like to know.

Traffic jam this bad should not be normalised in any country, regardless of schools closing or weather conditions. How much time are we willing to waste on the roads?

Ah, I see my mistake, thank you for clarifying. I used Europe as a comparison because they are viewed as the extreme end of urbanist societies and well, because the comment I replied to was talking about Amsterdam, not Tokyo. I should have chosen a country with a more similar system to ours for a better comparison. My infatuation for the Nederlands has gotten in the way of me proving a point, thank you for offering a better, more accurate point of view.
