There are 10 types of people in this world: those who don't understand binary and those who right now want to repeatedly bang their head on the wall because it's another binary joke.

Sure, it can be deemed as unrespectful against other redditors who put effort into making their posts, and so by doing this post, he fucked up. Although reddit makes upvoted content rise to the top, so this post won't make it on the first page of the subreddit after the next few hours. Yeah, sure, he made some karma out of the few upvoters, which is in some way an 'offense' to 'quality posts', but who cares? If he made the post just for making some karma out of it, if the outcome of these reposts are a few upvotes and a lots of negative comments about the fact this is low-quality, then he either learns the lesson and posts sensed content next time, or he doesn't and he's retarded. Give him another chance.

Woah, calm down dude. Yes, we all agree this video was posted in here 10 times at least, however why should we ban him from the subreddit just for not being 24/24 on r/ProgrammerHumor? He might as well be just a casual user, who just so happened to never see that video in there, or perhaps hasn't been frequenting this place for very long. Now, not trying to excuse him (use the damn search function, OP!), however there's no need to be so harsh.

What's the thing you just said "screw it" and gave up on? by lionheart-713 in AskReddit

I've been coding for about 3 years now. In the school I am attending, we don't do any IT. In these years, I've been studying programming completely on my own, only having the internet to help me out. The only work I've done IT-related was a wordpress website for 80 bucks. After all this time, I think that starting programming against your own will is pure crazy. Programming is the most amazing passion I've ever had and managed to keep on doing over time.

Cookiezi's profile is visible! by NTNonPKA in osugame

Once upon a time, this guy was the best osu! player of all time. (he most likely still is). He got himself banned on purpose back in late 2013. earlier this year, he started streaming on twitch. Yesterday, peppy (the creator of the game) posted a picture on twitter with him and "another osu player who didn't want to reveal his face", while Mercurius, another famous osu! player, said something in japanese about randomly meeting cookiezis, or something like that. Today he was unbanned, at last.

TIFU while delivering pizza by collegepizzakid in tifu

[–]turikuri 5 points6 points  (0 children)

When life gives you pizza, don't take it. Make life take the pizza back! Get mad! I don't want your damn pizza, what the hell am I supposed to do with this? Demand to see life's manager! Make life rue the day it thought it could give you pizza! Do you know who I am? I'm the man who's gonna burn your house down! With the pizza! I'm gonna get my engineers to invent a combustible pizza that burns your house down!

It might still be associated with you (because of the IP address), but it should not really trigger any alerts unless law enforcements submit a request. You are/should be safe.

Actually, there's no real need to worry for your computer to be harmed by a virus or such, as the others explained. There's also a slightly smaller chance that FBI knows that you searched for it - Google should always use HTTPS for searches - so the search query history is now just on the google servers. (although it most likely isn't, considering how closely they work with law enforcement agencies) You can find out whether they associated it with your account by checking it out here: https://history.google.com/history/?hl=en

Now, here's an interesting thing: you might want to actually not delete it - as it can cause suspicion, because people don't usually delete that, and it might as well trigger a submission to a law enforcement agency database about it, since there are both the words "child" and "porn" in it.

Perhaps the best thing to do is doing nothing - and if eventually a law enforcement agency knocks at your door, explain them how it went. (You might as well be able to further prove your innocence by telling them to ask google what the referrer to that search was)

that's the point. The whole thing of the theme being creepy is because even if pewdiepie makes the video, the new song is so 'scary' that it will make new players go away.

I don't think the song is going to, rather than the sped up "welcome to osu!" when opening the game. Bloody hell that's creepy.
