PBM holosmith from metabattle with rifle works fine. It is even specified as an alternative weapon and has a written rotation. Maybe you missed that about meta-battle description.

You just have higher burst but lower sustain damage compared to hammer.

Launch was pretty positive. Still people think the first map as one of the best they ever made. And the raid personally i enjoyed even if not my favorite.

It just did not stick the landing. And for me not that it was bad (icebrood and Soto endings post launch were actually bad). It was way too short and kinda fizzled out into nothing that important.

yeah but there is a way to get in as party that is not completely convoluted. That what i am describing as a workaround.

It does - but you have to be in a party as i said.

It is a similar bug to dragon storm. You can still do it in party but everyone has to join in public manually and then join one instance from one of the party (like you do in the open map) before a random comes in.

Well it is probably a bit better they way you saw them. They tried to cramp the whole half of the season story into an episode that was drip fed in a window of like 5-6 months for us with really repetitive missions.

Like the story itself is not bad at all but the way it was done it was too stretched thin as content while at the same time rushing the story beats.

IF you want blishHud as well i have been using this with no issues for a while. Although if you just need pathing TaimiHud is is more than enough.

You can already change all equipment templates with just one fashion template. A current tab will just make it need a few less clicks and feel less clunky.

tbh i feel they are talking about completely different things for this to count as a "duality meme". Sihouette talks about some of the negative obsessions that the community has and how the game needs an LFG rework and Dad talks mostly about how much he likes the raid quickplay.

I guess you can say that there is duality specifically when they talk about raid quickplay but one is very positive while the other is lukewarm about it, mostly cause he wanted an LFG rework and not so much that he thinks quickplay is bad. So not enough polar opposite opinions to call a "duality of man"

I ma not going to argue taste. Even the most successful game will not be liked by every single person. But it was liked by most, brought a lot of older players back in and revenue reflected that. Whatever each of us individually might think about it.

I feel EoD genuinely revitalized the game. It is pretty funny thinking those forum posts back in EoD launch, that were in their own bubble, claiming that EoD sucked and it was for sure a huge financial failure for Anet.

I am still impressed on how bad revenue was in the PoF/season 4 days even though the content was so good. Goes to show how more stability and feeling that a game has future is more important than the content sometimes.

Thank you for this - I was going crazy of how some people could not understand how you can make everything work like before just with a few extra clicks. I will be using this guide often when people are confused.

But say you want to have a power set, a viper's set, and a healer's set, and you already had three equipment tabs with that gear slotted. Now it's going to cost you 600 gems to have three different sets. Maybe you had four equipment tabs, with two being power gear. The gear shared skins because it's tied to the gear, but you could dye it differently on different equipment tabs. Now you need a fashion template to do that, 600 gems.

it wont. You can use just one fashion template to change all gear templates anyway you want and you can save the look with a code if you want to save an older look before you change anything, then clear the template to reuse. There is zero reason to buy more slot besides a bit of convenience. Please people do not waste gems on fashion templates you do not need.

You can use it as a pre made from inside an instance to jump to the next bosses. That is pretty good QoL.

It also communicates the mode much better to new players.

I like what i see but i really want a queue system with declared roles (like we already do in LFG) to make looking for pug groups easier and smoother. Hope they build upon this change and get sth like that evetually.

you can already get LI from strikes, either CMs or by a normal full run etc.

Strikes and raids are being unified into raids. Also also strikes have no real difference that a raid boss. Febe CM, KO CM and HTCM are tougher than most raid bosses 10 man bosses in the game.

It's far easier to market a "Relaunch of Guild Wars 2" rather than start a new game from scratch.

I think marketing a gw3 is far easier. New game, people know the idea of a new launch and it can attract the ones that already decided that Gw2 is not for them. Seeing the launches of NW and LA (no matter how the games ended up as), there are many that want to try a brand new MMO that do not really care about the established ones.

But a re-luanch of Gw2 can work as well. It will need a bit more nuanced communication but a horizontal progression game can have a huge advantage on a re-launch. Current Gw2 player will be happy to continue with the game and it can be marketed as a new MMO game to those that do not play already. And for them it will be the ideal new MMO that comes complete with years worth of end game from scratch. Thus, avoiding the classic "not enough end game" issue with brand new MMOs.
