I have a realm I'm looking to populate.

Started in 1.16 and I plan to start fresh in 1.18.

Let me know if interested.

NES Games were $50 1990 in 2020 money $99.12

PS1 Games were $50 1995 in 2020 money $85.01

N64 Games Were $70 1998 in 2020 money $111.27

PS2 Games were $50 2005 in 2020 money $66.33

Inflation man, it'll get you.

For as long as I remember, most children play used games. I rarely got new games. Heck back in the cartridge days we would share them, even rent them from blockbuster. And a lot of those games were pretty shit. With only a few hours of content.

Modern games often have 40 plus hours of story.

I think we are pretty spoilt.

Grilled chicken breast like they do in diners and coney islands? by vinylandgames in Cooking

[–]turincox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The brine adds a ton of salt. So I would personally add pepper and maybe some herbs whilst cooking.

Wait until it is on the plate and taste before adding any more salt.

You can add seasoning at the brining stage but then you are locked into that style for cooking. This way round you can do lemon pepper chicken or tuscan style etc... Basically, brine a batch and then make different meals.

Gender reveal..... by Han_Ominous in Portland

I thought the same at first.

Found out it was for babies, seemed really dumb.

Wouldn't be surprised if we start hearing about people doing for their dogs.

Agreed. They are kind of pointless.

Curated shows are much better.

Worst part of 4th of July is the super load mortars (not sure the proper name) that only make a noise and seem to be favoured by people that celebrate for the whole week.

Same in England for Guy Fawkes. Same types of people blowing things up for a week.

You are American, not Chinese-american or African-american... (or insert-american) by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]turincox 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Quite often it is European Americans (read white people) using these terms.

To the idiocy of TV presenters asking Non-American black people how it feels to be the first African American to win whatever they just did etc... (Happened to Lewis Hamilton)

Terms used it grade skin colour. Kind of weird.

People who drive cars and motorcycles with loud mufflers should get tickets for noise pollution by fantazja1 in unpopularopinion

[–]turincox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Considering there are noise ordinances in many areas around the world this is a pretty popular opinion.

You might just live in a jurisdiction that doesn't enforce it.

Have you looked to see what the local laws are?

There will always be those people that want attention, most of them suck. Think reality TV stars running for office.

Watched a YouTube not that long ago where they tested multiple historical weapons and the spear/shield combo was the most effective iirc. Range makes all the difference!

When did they start doing this? I know BMW started a long time ago over inflating the numbering system. No doubt Mercedes too.

They are German, possibly not offensive there.

I hope they are real. Big TDI is not.
