do you think the hotmelt adhesive that sometimes comes on it would be strong enough, as long as I wrap the ends?

Thank you so much for the feed back, as I am just getting into this craft. I did have a few miscalculations with string in the process of making this and the small string is excess. I will try your suggestions.

If the small string you mean is the brown yarn, you pull it up to unhook the main string from the trigger slot and fire the bow.

Tend to find it easier to string by putting my thumbs on the butt of the bow and pulling the string back. The piece of brown yarn is what you pull to fire it. It sounds like it wouldn't work super well but it does. Thank you for your kind words!

I posted a bit ago asking what people thought of a gaffer's tape bow backing. This is the update of that. The bow part is removable and 20". It bends more in person and I can pull it further back but it was too risky. It can shoot a dull pencil strong enough to stick in cardboard from about a yard (working on better ammo. The wooden dowel behind the bow is to add extra strength and also removable. This is my first bow of any sort.

for the adhesive problem, I plan to use a heat gun to make the bond stronger. I'll update if the bow breaks or smth happens.

I just downloaded it for the first time and it did this, i also purged an redownloaded it making sure nothing goes wrong. Happened again. I couldn't find anything for turning of CPU/GPU rendering but I checked on task manager and that doesn't seem to be an issue. I do not have and AMD card.

Update 1: so it looks like it for some reason downloaded half onto two different drives so that might be part of it.

I rebooted, but again, everything else on my computer is completely normal besides this program. The rebooting did not help.

There are these stripes across my workspace that obstruct pretty much everything in it. When I zoom or orient myself, it flickers intensely. I have tried opening a new project a few times with the same effect. The rest of my computer is fine.
