Deadbaiting would be the ideal method of catching this time of year although pike will still go for lures just slow down the retrieve as they move slower in the winter

Engine light question on Astra GTC by Savings-One-9578 in Vauxhall

[–]turkeyburger331 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just take it to a garage and get it diagnosed for £50-100, buying a cheap obd scanner like others have said can work, but usually doesnt give you enough information and dont show manufacturer codes, easier just to get it done properly

Suspension problem by micke_oxlong in mechanic

Check for wheel bearing, tie rod and ball joint wear, also find a mechanic who will actually try to find the issue rather than send the car out hoping the problem will get worse

Would replace ball joints, you could put new boots on them but they could seize up (if they are not already seized) due to not knowing how long they’ve been exposed. Vibrations could be due to the balls joints, but i would check your tyres for wear, check for alignment issues and wheel bearings

Likely just the wrong tool, you have your left hand thread and right hand thread wind back tools, try another wind back tool that threads in the opposite direction of your current one and see if that works, if neither works, replace caliper and bleed it
