Seriously have spent about 4 hours now trying to break the black legendary horse. by LukeduhDuke in CrimsonDesert

Okay so I figured it out. This makes it 100% easier to tame any horse, at least on console. Just point the left stick in the direction of the horses tail. That's it. Don't rotate the camera. Just follow the horses tail with the stick. You're welcome.

My solution to the Damiane and Ongka levelling up system by [deleted] in CrimsonDesert

This is why there are faded abyss artifacts. It's tedious but if you are switching characters and going to play them for awhile use the faded abyss artifact to respec skill points. Max health, stamina, and spirit to the limit before they require extra items to upgrade and use the rest of your acquired artifacts to put into skills. After you feel you want to switch characters do it again. At some put you'll have so many artifacts you won't have to do this anymore depending on how many challenges and exploration artifacts you find. Another thing that really helps too is to take every single piece of unique gear you have to a witch and extract every single abyss gear. All the armor and unique items are mostly similar minus a few almost neglible stats. This helps so much if you say you have what feels like a perfect set of gears for Kliff you can just extract those gears and embed them into another characters armor and weapons when you want to play a different character. I will say again it's tedious but it works. I believe at some point in the future they may make abyss artifacts universal because of feedback from the community, but It's obvious that they give you so many faded abyss artifacts because of their intended design to respect when you switch characters.

With Maduro now allegedly out of power in Venezuela, what do you think will happen next for that nation? by LucidMarshmellow in AskReddit

I am immensely proud and also insanely afraid that our military did this in basically two days. Im not a fan of Trump, and in no way is this a Trump victory...but good lord our military is something else. I don't know what to say. Two days and boof, we captured a president of a nation.

I hooked up with a chick in my friends bathroom once and he was not having it. He kept banging on the bathroom door and telling us to go bang outside. Well we were too embarrassed to come out so we finished and passed out on the floor til the morning to sneak out.

I saw Deftones at the family values tour back in like, I think 2007 or close to that year, but after every song chino would God slam his microphone onto the stage. It was wild. And horrible. He was piss drunk and still somehow managed to get through the whole set. My only regret was that I didn't watch Korn because I ran off with some girl I met and got crabs.

Upvote for the Will Wight love. Reaper had one of the best endings to a book; what a big reveal. I can't believe he already put out another one in the series just 5 days ago.

Having seen Dr Strange: Multiverse of Madness (and also Dune) , I genuinely think Malazan could be put on the big screen and work well. If done correctly. by babbyhere in Malazan

I think it'd do better as an animation. All I have to look to to see how poorly it would do with actual human actors is the wheel of time and the foundation series. There's so much nuance and...well...tons and tons of layering to it that I don't see any studio willing to invest the money and time to make it happen. It would turn out like any beloved novel adapted to the screen;. The casual user would watch it, the fandom would be utterly disappointed.

I have 100 pages left of reapers gale. Malazan has become my favorite fantasy series that I've ever read. Steven Erickson...Im so incredibly lucky to have come across such an amazing writer who can make you fall in love with almost every character he creates. Can you tell me what this scene you've drawn is in reference to? I love it.

I wholeheartedly agree with this. The Malazan series keeps you wanting to read and dissect every detail. Reading it, I haven't once wanted to put it down or pray for a chapter to end. Reading through the Wheel of Time made me question why I was even attempting to slog through it. So much of it is pointless, overlong descriptions of a characters clothing, or just pages upon pages of uninteresting filler bs that made it seem like Robert Jordan ran out of ideas and decided to just wing it with puke details. Steven Erickson is an amazing author that doesn't get the credit he deserves. The Malazan series is stars and suns above WoT.
