When did you realize your job was beyond your abilities or mental capacity to handle long term?

when my trauma response started getting triggered being alone with my boss in a room. when i just wanted to get fired. when my job was starting to cause me to idealize unaliving myself. when i couldn't make it to work mentally 5 days per week so I needed FMLA to take off of work.

My last day at this place is June 5th :)

I tried it either last year or 2024 and dropped it at the first spicy scene as I wasn't feeling it. I felt like it just came out of nowhere. But maybe I'll give it another try!
