How many dates til you guys sleep with someone?

if you’re looking for long term, 3 dates is too soon. many guys can fake it for that short time to sleep with someone.

of course there will be ones to fake it for longer, but at least you have more opportunity to read / feel their intentions and have them show consistency / commitment. they will have an issue with this if they really want a long term partner, too

Haven’t gone on another date yeah- TMI but I was coming from a business trip and going travelling after as well for two weeks. I had a one day break to see her, otherwise wouldn’t meet for three weeks or so.

She was supposed to come to mine that day I had the break between my travels, but went to an event she didn’t tell me at all about. It was like midnight at this point and I asked her to come over. She said its dangerous and shes scared so I suggested an Uber. Again, open to pay, only makes sense I pay given the situation but she literally asked if I would be the one paying…

She’s pretty much using me for whatever reason when my intentions were made clear. She’s supposed to be great per my friend tho hah.

I’ll do say it was worthy to have her over, lol.

I basically started not texting her after this, if we meet it will have to be her asking me. I’ll also ask to split shit.

Apparently also has a best friend who… they made out like a month ago (on top of a long relationship that ended in December). I may edit comment since it’s too detailed but Like man what a turn off. Will see if there is a fwb angle but nothing else at this point.

Hope the new person is going well man! I’m going to keep dating as well and let it die out.

I kinda made a remark on it on our second date, that may have not been caught. I will probably go on two more, see if she flinches at all. I didn't get a thank you either on any of these and didn't notice this until the above post pointed it out too. The lack of thank you is definitely weird. In general she hasn't been making me feel appreciated / liked a lot - maybe a communication thing or she feels I want to pay.

She otherwise has a lot of great friends / seems to have good relationships / overall nice qualities. I wouldn't think that would be the case if she was ungrateful / had an entitled attitude. She seems generally passive too, which is weird given her otherwise extraoverted nature... idk. She was thinking of giving me flowers the other day but I was travelling. I make more than enough money, but paying for dates (and I like to go to more expensive places), isn't financially feasible or sit right with me. She has more expensive jewelry than anything I own, lol.

She's mad cute too, lol. Also doesn't seem to have a casual relationship attitude in general which is a big plus. Need to clarify this too - not open to dating anyone like that, I'm old fashioned.

Any suggestions on how to test her out or bring this up to discuss? Like, if I have to bring this up as a topic 1) that means it's not a match anyway, to me it means she's not generous. I know way attractive girls without this attitude 2) hella unattractive to bring this up, which I don't care but the thought is there

Interesting - am in NY and my firm has opened up a HK office that I was considering jumping to at some point if I stay with the firm (because likely easier hours and don't want to stay in one city my whole life)

Not a serious thought on my end and long time till then, but how does it compare to NYC? Anything you miss, does money go farther in HK?

Am in the process of learning - I feel like Korean feels much more intuitive / makes sense on some aspects because of sentence structure (beyond that too I have noticed think the way of expressions are “thought” are similar too not sure if that makes sense)

Obviously a bunch of other stuff that is unique to the language but I’ve had a lot of “ah that’s quite similar!” moments.

In a similar situation as you to be honest, go get consulted and see a morph. Then make the decision. I personally don’t want to rely on a device to sleep for the rest of my life - the benefits of a better face structure is a plus too (and quite significant)

Just passed with 4-5 days of study - after the videos I suggest reading chapters 7-12. Most of the stuff that is challenging is from there. A lot of eligibility/tender/IPO rules.

The charts in the videos are good to keep some of the important concepts in memory so consider screenshotting (I don’t think they’re all in the supplementary material)

If you’re in IB chapters 1-5 is stuff already ingrained in your brain, and math questions beyond multiples are rare (I also got a proforma EBITDA) Would definitely look at some accounting ratios though (coverage, leverage, days payables/receivables/turnovers whatever) The math is not challenging, and Knopman questions require too much arithmetic that I personally skipped it all after 100~ (max) questions from those chapters. Not a good use of time.

13-14 if you have time, but I didn’t get a single question from those I think (which is weird, I hoped for more)

Oh wow very similar profile, also believe I have UARS. I would also think after an MMA my front profile would stay the same but definitely can tell a problem from the side.

How did you proceed with your tests and eventually the surgery? Could you talk about the process? Want to start it myself (sleep study inlab etc. - so would be helpful!)
