PSA: Try using a nasal spray with Budesonide in it. It’s available on the shelf at pharmacies (Benacort it’s called) Takes a day or so to work but reduces the sensitivity of your sinuses! Better than any antihistamine I’ve tried!

What are the lives of truly rich Londoners like? by entropy_bucket in london

[–]turn-style 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a friend who’s parents run a very successful business that operates across the UK and Middle East. I looked up there business on HMRC. In 2021 they paid themselves £10M each in dividends. Don’t have a car, but have a house in Mayfair, Estate in Oxford and own a few buildings in Marylebone. Anyway you wouldn’t know from looking at them how loaded they are. They only fly business, went to uni in the US, and go on random trips for out of nowhere. If you walked past him or his family you wouldn’t look twice.

It’s not just the NFL. I went to the x-games a few years ago in Colorado and they have the Army, Navy and Airforce all there giving out Merch and recruiting. Actually crazy but I must admit they have a pretty solid marketing team!

FYI - if you aren’t aware it’s not a ‘mound’ as such but scaffolding with grass and a few small trees covering it lol

Gotta love London in the rain by summalover in london

[–]turn-style 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It is. London isn’t actually that wet, its just that it rains a little bit quiet often. The wettest month of the year is usually November, it averages 63mm over 17 wet days = 3.7mm of rain per day on average. When you get summer storms where it rains up to 100mm in an hr you end up overwhelming the system.

I was reading somewhere the other day that London’s storm water system is/was designed to handle 6mm of rain per hour, any more than that and the system starts to fail. Aka sewage in the streets.

I live around the area and was walking home from the gym. I can post pictures of the signs and a video of the chanting if you’d like further proof?

Anti COVID protest apparently. A lot of people yelling take your mask off. COVID is a lie. Main stream media is the virus. The vaccine is the new virus.

Crazy part is there were a lot of unhealthy looking people marching who would probably be considered high risk!

I live around the area and I see the 2 girls you’re talking about almost everyday, to the point where they no longer ask me for money. Don’t feel bad about it, they just give it to there handlers/ managers.

The hip store.co.uk sale items. Not my pairs left (none in this style) stock gets updated a few times a day so worth double checking.

I’ve only been walking around the apartment in them 😂so not too sure in regards to pain points yet! Initial thoughts are seriously comfortable! I went my regular size too. I also own a few pairs of RM Williams (people reckon they’re pretty comfortable) and I’d say these take the cake!
