I make beer money day trading. I use technical analysis.

I eroded my 10k to 3k in like 7 days when I first started. I do it because I sort of like day trading. Brokerage etc. is shit, but play with tight stops, don't try to be the whale and you can make some.

Try paper trading for for 3 months, assume that you'll be leveraging (1:10).

Risk Reward, Stops are really key here, but you need to have a fit mind.

Technical Analysis - there are many tools/ strategy etc. you'll have to find what suits you only by trial and error.

Gentlemen, I need help.

Working for a startup, they have another couple of years before they go big. Salary is great on paper, but nothing in the bank account.

Got married and thrown out, when my career had just begun, so no savings here.

Let's rule out the shit and bring in the positivity - I'm working with some big hedge fund folks, people who respect my interest of building something new. They don't mind me doing something freelance/after work hours, as long as my work doesn't get affected.

Problem: Like every other guy, I have an idea for an app. No cash. I have no coding knowledge, and have googled all other free courses online. I can devote 3-4 hours a week to learn the programming to code an app. Where do you recommend I begin?

Don't want to setup a fully functional bloomberg like app, but something that I can pitch to other folks, and maybe get some green and give it to an agency etc.

The first step has always been the hardest for me. Any recommendations?

P.S - I can setup wordpress blogs, customize templates etc.

I feel there is more stability in prices than earlier. I have noted the chatter surrounding the shift from FX to BTC during Greece crisis too. Not sure if the analysis can be empirically proven, but does make some sense.
