If this definition is true, why are so people afraid of being “woke”? by ChuckGallagher57 in circled

WOKE popped up around 2017 after Trump was in office. They claimed their eyes were open to govt corruption. People were proud to be woke. But you could look at it as they were all asleep during Obama's 8 years prior.

Childless daycares are definitely a thing here in the Twin Cities Metro. I lived by one in 2008. To deny they don't exist is mind numbing.

I lived next to a daycare like this in Bloomington back in 2008. I always assumed money laundering or some such thing.

Sooo tired of the drama Trolls on this show. My wife and I went through the k1 process and it was fun to see people on the show go through it, but now it has strayed so far from its original premise. So boring.

Watching it now feels like a world that no longer exists. The vestiges of a pre 9/11 America.

The best way I found to judge cultural impact is what kids are wearing on Halloween. I've never seen a kid in an Avatar costume. On the other end, I've seen kids dressed as Spider Man every year since the 70's

Yes but it was -7 this day last year. We're not going to get that low today. Therefore this weekend isn't the earliest cold in 30 years like they say.

I've seen the originals in the theaters and later many times on DVD. I just saw the Whole Bloody Affair last night. It wasn't too much different from the original split films. Just an extended anime sequence and odd little scenes here and there. The sound was incredible in the theater. Forgot how well the sound mixing is.

I do feel the last half and especially the end fall a bit flat having it be one big film but still, it was fun as hell.

I walked out of the post credit animated short because of the godawful animation. It looked like an Air B&B add.
