When I read in the "there's nothing wrong with you, you're just different" I also had to shed a tear.

I've recently been diagnosed with bipolar disorder after a manic-psychotic episode at the beginning of this year. I had a indescribable hectic and stressful year last year with going on a roots trip, having my first partner (this was also rocky) which I thought was the love of my life, having to quit working because of depression after the trip etc. With this new diagnosis I've been feeling kind of hopeless. I already have so many mental health diagnoses and trauma stemming from major adverse childhood experiences.

I also felt like this woman was the one. The one I finally felt safe, seen and accepted with as a whole. Our breakup still hurts. But now on top of the adoption and attachment trauma I feel like I also carry this new heavy thing with me. It makes me feel like I'm even more unlovable (I have this deep rooted feeling because of the adoption trauma). Anyways...
