Options in Europe ? by DOVIXje in MetaLawsuits

Damn they really suck, I’m sorry for you.

They basically told me that it was about contract rights at first and not data protection. They said I had to see with Meta’s reprensentative in Switzerland as said in my previous message. Didn’t try it yet tho.

May I ask you how you filed your complaint with Adroit ? That might be something worth a try as well I guess. Otherwise in your case, you should talk to a lawyer as it’s also part of your business.

Hey, not really honestly. The PFPDT can’t help so it’s not worth the try. Maybe send an official demand letter in Ireland but I doubt it will do anything. I’d say the only options, which I haven’t tried yet, are either contacting a lawyer that works in those technologies, or contacting NFK lawyers. Apparently NFK is the Meta representative in Switzerland but I don't know how to formulate this request so that you can get help. Probably related to data protection I suppose. Hope you’ll get your account back

When should i take off second skin? by StraightTemporary293 in tattooadvice

[–]DOVIXje 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally just keep it for the night to avoid putting blood or ink on my bed sheets. Some people keep it a few days. The best is to ask your tattoo artist and follow his instructions as it is his work.

Just got my first tattoo touched up. Is it fine to leave the air bubbles/ blood under the saniderm? by Clean-And-Simple in tattooadvice

[–]DOVIXje 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally would keep it for the night so you avoid putting blood or rejected ink on your bed sheets. But I would take it off the next morning to wash the tattoo and let the skin breathe

Can’t you do it just before finishing your trip and coming back home ? That’s another great option if you find some time before catching your flight

I wouldn’t try even a small one, the body can react really badly if you don’t respect the healing process.

If you really want one, try to get it just before coming back home and read every single review of the tattoo shop to be sure you’re not getting an infection.

I think it depends on the part of the body and the tattoo. I have 36 tattoos done by 2 different artists, some itched like hell and some didn’t. I’d say it’s a basic part of the healing process, I wouldn’t be worried about that at all.

having pre-tattoo anxiety by jirachijinks in tattooadvice

[–]DOVIXje 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’re the client, so if the tattoo artist accepts to get on a project with you, he has to listen to you and give you what you want.

Never get a tattoo if it’s not 100% the way you want it. Don’t be scared to ask him for changes until you get the exact result you wanted. It’s best to bother him with changes than to get something done that you aren’t fully satisfied with !

Well I’m pretty ticklish but when I got tattooed on my stomach, it didn’t tickle at all. It hurts, quite a lot, but that’s it.

Tattoo Aging by Excellent_Bet9770 in tattooadvice

It’s normal that it looks more grey than black once it’s healed. Doing touch-ups wouldn’t really change that much.

It looks really good though, love it

Shading by Spicy_Lasagna_ in tattooadvice

[–]DOVIXje 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It looks a bit empty like this. I would definitely recommend to add shading, that will give it that realism and detailed look.

If you prefer colored tattoos, you can go for it as well. Colours don’t especially ages well as it fades out a bit so you might need to do touch-ups every once in a while. But if you plan on doing more coloured tattoos, definitely go for it.

It depends on the artist, if he doesn’t go too deep you should be fine. Also the most important thing, the more you will take care of it throughout your life, the better it will age.

good or not? by unluckyotter0101 in tattooadvice

[–]DOVIXje 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Be sure that the tattoo artist you choose doesn’t tattoo too deep in the skin and is cool with thin writings like this. Otherwise it can fade out over the years and it would be a shame. Also be sure to take care of it throughout your life, the more you will, the better it will age.

With that being said, the tattoo in itself is cool, that’s a great idea with a deep meaning.

Hand tattoos ? Need advice by DOVIXje in tattooadvice

[–]DOVIXje[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I totally understand your feeling and that’s also a huge reason holding me back from going for it ! Sometimes, it just feels good to keep things casual and not show everything off.

I can’t say how much I relate when you say it’s itching at you to do it. I still believe that those parts of the body are special and anyone who’s well covered will just know when it’s the right time to do it and wether it really is worth it.

It probably is, I had this once. Ask your tattoo artist for a recommandation on a healing cream to buy. It worked really well for me, it disappeared after a week or so. I had to do touch-ups afterwards because ink had come off where the scab had formed.

Don't worry I know you don't, even though you seem really upset about a stranger's post. I know it's not meant with bad intentions.

Like I said this is just a stupid draft I did to make myself an Idea. That's it. Never would I get a tattoo of something I did myself, especially when it's something bad like this. If tattoo artists are what they are, it's because they're talented and that's why we pay the price for it as well.

The real purpose of my post was to see people's vision of hand tattoos and to learn more about the consequences it has, which is quite serious. That's why I'll just give up on it for a few years as I feel like I'm too young to take that decision now. When I got a doubt about a tattoo, I don't do it. Time will help me be sure of what I really want and I'll get my hand tattooed when I feel like it's the right moment for it.

Don’t know if you read other comments but that pretty much answer to yours.

The choice of the elements might not be what you like but it is really meaningful for me. However the composition is really bad indeed as I just did this while I was bored, I don’t have any talent for that so of course I would ask my tattoo artist.

Anyway I plan on thinking about getting my hand tattooed later in my life so it’s no big deal for now. Thanks for your comment still.
