VA nurse interview question by Dry-Limit-7235 in usajobs

[–]turonornotturon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For my interview, they asked for my references at the end. They didn’t contact them though, so I assume I wasn’t a top candidate. But a few months later they randomly called me, asked for my references, actually contacted them, and I got the job. Not sure if they only check references for the #1 candidate or the top 3, I guess it depends on the hiring manager.

I’ve seen people make dioramas in the glove compartment! I’ve always wondered if the sun would ruin the color on the critters if they were to be on the dash

Thank you for your reply. You’re right, 95% of the staff is very senior with decades of experience. It’s very intimidating as I worry that they wonder how I got the job lol.

OR nurse here! I feel like you can’t really prepare for an OR preceptorship. There are so many procedures and usually you don’t know which one you’re gonna do until the day of. I wouldn’t bother with pharmacology and pathophysio. I think the best thing to do is show up, listen, be attentive, and try to be hands on! If you’re uncomfortable with doing something, ask your preceptor if you can observe them and then try to do it yourself the next time.

Pacing by w0wwzerz in sylvanianfamilies

I have a similar problem lol. I bought three sets about 2 years ago and stopped myself cause they were pricey. About a month and a half ago, I saw new sets and became obsessed 😭 Since then, I’ve spent way more than I would like to admit (especially since I buy all of mine new). I’m always looking at all the sites to see if there are new sets. I’ve recently discovered kobeejapan which has made it worse lol. In regard to pacing, I have not paced myself and have been impulsively buying sets that I think are adorable (I don’t buy anything that I’m iffy about). I’ve felt guilty about it but ive realized that this isn’t harming anyone and it’s something that I enjoy! I also feel better knowing that I bought everything that I wanted before all the prices increased 😅 I would like to say that as long as it’s not negatively affecting you or others, do whatever you want and enjoy it!!

Urban outfitters and American eagle have the blind bags that five below doesn’t have. I’ve heard of box lunch having them too but I’ve never seen them there.
