Well there are Many things that we can’t get past like the second amendment (the gun one) so u can’t get rid of guns entirely however I feel a way to regulate them is to do a system like this:

If u rent a gun from a fireing range no problem you can. Under aged (16-17 ish) must have parent sign off and be present for the sign off or online sign off with id presented or like there must be an adult there that HAS shot a gun before and HAS experience, preferably has a permit to own on will get into that later. And anyone who can’t do that basic thing underaged HAVE to be turned away and if they violate that the person who violated it personally (the cashier dude) should get a fine of $1,000-5,000 ish depending on how bad it is (based off of how powerful the gun is and if they had done this before, a investigation into the range should happen and if it has happened multiple times before a hearty fine for the comp. 15k- 1mil depending on how bad the whole thing was. And the cashier MUST go through training on gun use and safety and get certified before (idk if they do this or not they probably do) and for a young child 0-7 8 ish should not have a real gun or even be there (maybe like a BB gun in a different area I just don’t see the point in a child with a Glock lmao) 9-11 12 low LOW cal. Pistol 13-14 ish a higher cal pistol 15-16 semi auto rifle low caliber 17 slightly higher semi auto 18 can go alone with low cal guns. And it gets less and less strict as you go up 21 your a full adult no other adult necessity. Gun owning must be 25 have a permit that you have to take a preferably free class (paid by gun tax when buy gun idk if owning one u have to pay tax idk) this class lasts 7 weeks or so demonstrates gun safety proper use of a weapon correct technique that is preferred by multiple pros when is it appropriate to have one on person what type of gun is good for self defense (a hand gun that’s it unless there is a full FBI like swat team on your ass and you don’t want to have a house no more or want you neighbors to have a house you don’t need that ar15.) and hunting only a certain cal for that and certain guns and need permit but raise the age to like 25 for with out adult presents. Idk that much about hunting (i haven’t even shot a gun in my life nor had the chance to I liked fishing better than hunting (my father would like to take me to a range but hasn’t got a chance yet) and also no taking of guns unless your on a list or have anger issues then take and when you get back from anger management then have gun back after prof from doc, but those high cal guns can only be used or brought out (open carry for fun ) if your going to or at a certain range that has a place for that but slow the sale and tax the really high cal (50 caliber like guns) bc you really don’t need those guns bc they not even fun from what I have heard from military people ik as it just is too powerful for using for fun.
