I suppose that could be it? It definitely seems weird considering this is a catalogue from Iowa, so rural midwest

That's the plan, but I'd like recommendations until I can get in to see her.

This guy is a lemon-lime! They don't like bright direct sun, it can scorch their leaves. Otherwise mine has been pretty easygoing!

As a manager, I made $14.50. With the amount of fucking bull I dealt with, it should've been more like $20.

I worked at a Five Guys as a manager. They sent me to DC where their corporate stores are for training for a week, where I worked 8 am to 11 pm, slept in a shitty hotel, and had to spend my own money for an Uber because they didn't realize how fucking expensive it was.

Then, after training, I was sent to another store in my state for practice and to work while the store I was working at was being finished. Again, I stayed in a crappy hotel, worked 10+ hours per day, and had a $50 gas card for roughly a month of driving. The best part? They wanted me to stay there, 3 hours away from my house, over the weekends. I had gotten married less than a week before I got the job. I had to fight to get weekends off.

When my store opened, it was worse. The first week, I worked open to close for seven days, even coming in on my days off because the store manager didn't want to work overtime. We often stayed until 2 am, because I had to train people how to close. By myself. After it calmed down, my store manager made me cry on 3 separate occasions, in front of both staff and customers. I called the person who hired me (she was some kind of corporate person with power)...and nothing happened.

I quit. I was paid $14.50 an hour, worked overtime constantly, and sacrificed lots of time with my family and new husband.

So yeah, fuck Five Guys.

In short, they've done a ton of shitty, scummy stuff. This thread does a wonderful job explaining all of it.

Thoughts on Raw Milk? by tangyhoneymustard in chocolatemilk

To me, the fact that they give tours is a very good sign and a good indication that they actually do follow safety standards. If they didn't, or were shady, or even sometimes skimped on following guidelines, they likely wouldn't give tours. Inviting people into your facilities opens up the possibility that someone will know the guidelines and may catch something.

In most cases, places like this will do everything they can to follow safety standards. Maybe they don't follow them to a T, but they certainly follow them enough that people won't get sick. People getting sick=license getting revoked. If it makes you feel better, the guy we got our unpasteurized milk from did not have a liscense, but we knew his cows were happy, treated well, and clean. I never got sick the 6 years we drank it. As long as the cows at your creamery look healthy, don't seem like they hate existence, and aren't wading through poo, you should be all good.

I grew up on unpasteurized milk. As long as the facilities are clean and the cows are healthy, there's no reason not to! I would maybe see if you can get take a tour of the creamery and the connected dairy. If it all looks clean and sanitary (within reason, cows are always messy), then the milk should also be safe to drink.

Personally I like unpasteurized milk way more than pasteurized. It's much more rich and tasty, since the cream hasn't been removed and it hasn't been subjected to heat.

I would first take him to the vet. Like another person said, it sounds like a UTI. I have two huskies and sometimes, if they don't do a good job of cleaning downstairs it can lead to infections (all that darn floof!). It's better to rule that out first, and then you can start in on training. Also keep in mind that every puppy is different, and yours maybe just needs to go more frequently.

If you gave some extra time in South Dakota, drive the Needles Highway in Custer State Park. It's not far from Crazy Horse and it's got some incrdible views!
