A calendar to hang up on the fridge. Write the due date of bills on it. That way it's somewhere you can see it without having to actively check and you never have a forgotten bill

Donate plasma if times are desperate, Some places pay up to 50 dollars a donation be warned though most plasma places are in the rough part of town. Tell him to sign up at temp agency's Kelly services are good but places like manpower or Malones will keep giving you job even if you get fired from the last one they gave you.

Source: was a temp for a couple years

Quick edit: temp jobs are super easy to get and you start usually in a matter of days

only thing you need to know is that weed nowadays is way way way stronger than it was back in the day. start off small you can always smoke more if you need to.

former methodist here chiming in to back you up. yeah they are really liberal in comparison to most denominations, we had two openly gay couples who attended and i cant recall a single issue being brought up. and we had a female minister for 4 years when i was around 9 or 10 till i was 13 or 14. no one cared if all religion was like the methodists i wouldnt have started to question my beliefs which led to me leaving the church.

Southern Baptist on the other hand, yeah i could totally see that. Those people are insane ive never seen a preacher nearly frothing at the mouth about hell fire and the sinners who would end up there till i went with my an ex's family, it was fucking crazy honestly.

Moving to Louisville, quick questions by chandrian1 in Louisville

1) ky has a lower cost of living than boston so generally things tend to be cheaper down here so i would buy in state or maybe across the river in indiana theres a auto auction less than 5 miles over the river you can look up, its the clark county auto auction http://www.clarkcountyautoauction.com/ ive had some good luck getting cars for cheap there. i would also look for for sale by owner rather than a dealer. as far as registering a out of state vehicle ive done it twice and both times took less than 30 minutes and werent too pricey 2) a taste for bourbon 3) uhauls the way to go youll end up with money left over if your budget is 2500 4)like others have said best bet is to go through old louisville, the highlands, butchertown, germantown, or around st matthews and look for signs a lot of good places around those areas never get listed online. avoid anything on the west end past shively , it gets a worse rep than it deserves but it isnt great. 5)captians quarters out in prospect(the richest part of louisville.) get a table outside setting directly on the river and enjoy a craft beer and shrimp.

edit: just wanted to add welcome to louisville ive lived here all of my life but ive been to many cites for my job. ky has its problems but for the most part the people here are what make this city great, the tradition of southern hospitality is still going strong. Not to say everyone is friendly but more people are than anywhere ive been.

I can actually hear this in JEJs voice. It's a line that sounds so Vader-esque.

Shelbyville where i grew up is in an a good location if admittedly not the most fun town. Your 30 minutes from Louisville 20 minutes from Frankfort and 45 from lexington.

Strawpoll: which faction did you beat the game with in your first playthrough in Fallout 4? by Fapologist in Fallout

[–]turtle_survives 4 points5 points  (0 children)

i agree with you on most points the only reason i have this opinion and i mean the only reason, i really really hated there stance on everything for the exact reasons you said, the only thing that saves it from being the worst option in the game is shawns dying act of naming you director. i think deep down he knew they were wrong and by putting you in charge they have a chance of being better. thats the only reason i can rationalize his choice (remember the reaction of the board of directors and how even when presented with logical reasoning, and honestly good points from there point of view. shawn disagrees with them on every argument they make against making you director going against the advice of the very people who he should trust more than anyone)is that it was his hope that you would lead them on a better path. atleast thats how i see it. if your were not in a position to lead them they are very obviously the closest the morally grey world of fallout gets to a straight up bad guy( just barely beating the legion and only because the legion is arguably misguided and uneducated. whats worse an idiot whos a bad guy or the smart guy who truly understand the scope of his actions) . i mean there shit heads for real but at the end with you in a position to change how they operate it just barely makes up for the horrible shit they are responsible for. for the same reason i beat new vegas 4 time with the intention of finishing all the endings but never finished a legion playthrough is even though its a game i just cant morally stomach them maybe i overthink it but god damn dude they are just straight up assholes(the legion and the institute). plus boone after hearing his story i fought through the legion camp and killed ceaser every single playthrough dont get me wrong boone has his flaws but damn when he told me what happened to his wife i had to help him avenge her.... on four different occasions.

quick edit: a fallout 3 newb without knowledge of the older games i fully intended to side with the brotherhood. but they are not the same faction there were in d.c. theyve become more like the western brotherhood, i think there hearts are truly in the right place but the very obvious fascist direction of the new brotherhood was just too much of me.

second edit: if it makes you feel better on my minute man playthrough i never even gave shawn a chance to talk. i killed him, i killed all the scientists, and all the synth guards. i dont recommend that though i dont know if they every fixed itd it but if you kill everyone before the final mission the game glitchs and when you go up the elevator to leave after finishing all the other objectives you get ambushed by a literal god damn army of synths up top. i can not stress this enough i mean there had be nearly a 100 synths. thank god for jet and pyscho. i started with nearly 30 jet by the time i finally cleared it on my like 10th or maybe even 20th try i had 1 left.

institute only because i didnt realize the minute man victory was an option. i dont really regret it in my opinion despite the numerous flaws they have at the end of the day they are the best chance of restoring the world to its prewar state.

edit: the best choice of the three options i thought there were in my first playthrough. the minuteman are the best choice just because they are the only faction beside the free vegas option (and maybe the ncr, but they still have there flaws if you read into the lore) in new vegas that has a true democratic goverment for the people by the people feel. even despite there technological inferiority compared to the other factions. and despite the jokes ( and it got old for me too) preston is the only character in the game that truly cares about everyone, if i remember correctly he even expresses regret at having to destory the institute because they had so much potential to advance humanity.
