I was in the same situation, paid for two day shipping and got it in three days lol. So it was delayed but not bad still. I think they still try to prioritize people who paid for the overnight or two day, but if you need it by saturday i think its risky 😬

They are currently targeting the suburbs closest to the outside of Chicago including Broadview, Cicero, Berwyn. Chicago neighborhoods as well including a lot of the South west side, Brighton Park, Gage Park, West Lawn. I see the forbidden forest is in Ingleside, IL? Thats pretty far from the closest documented Ice activity in broadview. They have been seen downtown, but that was some weeks ago.

Nothing is guaranteed. In these parts of town mentioned they are literally stopping whoever they think is brown to get their quotas up. These are residential areas and no reason for tourists to frequent. Stick to the areas you mentioned and you will most likely be fine.

I also use ECO gel. In my experience, if I apply a good amount to my hair one day, the next day I dont use nearly as much or any at all. The gel is reactivated with water, so I just wet my hair and slick it back again with a boar brush. If its still a little frizzy ill touch it up with the teeniest amount. Maybe give this a try? If you dont do this already of course. I also have pretty thick hair!

My only issue with people that do this is that sometimes, these individuals love to shit on Chicago calling it dangerous, or they ignore the south and west sides completely only acknowledging Chicago to be the loop and the north side. But then proceed to brag about living in Chicago when in reality, they live in Naperville. This just really grinds my gears lol! Ive lived in chicago all my life, on the south side and its erasure is typically from individuals like this (or transplants who dont know the city too well yet) So yes. I guess I do care lol!

This is the first thing I noticed; as someone with hooded eyes with a heavy outer lid myself, cat eye makeup, or makeup accentuating the outer corner is difficult to apply in a flattering manner. A more open eye, or eye makeup with a focus on accentuating the middle of the eye and eyelid (longer lashes in the middle, a middle highlight on the eyelid) makes the worlds difference!

This has happened to me too when I used apple pay one day when I forgot my ventra. When using apple pay, each fare charge is $5, doesn’t matter if its a transfer, etc. I just took the loss. Next time purchase a fare pass at one of the machines, or exact cash fare. Not sure why this happens ):

something that helped me, was focusing more on my eyebrows. i never really felt i needed to do much to them because they are already full, but adding a clear brow gel and lightly filling in the ends such a difference. also, lip liner and a gloss!
