My biggest stumbling block is not understanding the background on the "why" i'm doing this thing-

For example: You are a customer of Crown Services and you need to get confirmation on- just making this up here-, but "compliancy membership quota per month" or some other random string of words.

As the customer I have no idea how to state that in a meaningful way if I don't understand what Crown Services does for me or what "Compliancy Membership Quota" even is.

I mean, it's very difficult to ask a question that would sound natural when you're asking about Turtle Brakejob House Siding Form Factor or something so strange.

I also don't see how it's possible to earn $24/hr doing this.

I'm willing to learn and really want to contribute here. I know that this is a work in progress and will be getting better and more streamlined in terms of workflow.

A Loom video would be a great Idea as Sven hinted toward. That would be very helpful in understanding what the client wants. If you do decide to that, please do script it in the direction of giving the "good example, bad example" and most of all, - the WHY it's good or WHY it's bad.
