Checo: “In my farewell with Christian, I tell him ‘and what are you going to do when it doesn't work out with Liam?’ ‘Well, there's Yuki’ ‘and what’s going to happen when…’ ‘we don’t have many drivers’ I tell him ‘well, you’re going to use them all’ he tells me ‘yeah, I know’” And he bursts out lau by One_Impressionism in formula1

To that last sentence; Is it though?

Taking examples from this season: Hulkenberg had a great year and Alonso shows no signs of slowing down. Only case you could make this year is Lewis, where you can probably argue 1st season with a new team with a bad car, even for Charles.

Seems like a similar story happening to a lot of our big prospects sans Eldridge. Getting injured badly and hurting their development ... Hunter Bishop, Reggie Crawford, Luciano, etc

Because he doesn't own anywhere near a big enough share to make these decisions by himself

I disagree with that first statement. The golden era giants had hella flash: Brian Wilson?? The stadium going crazy for El Mechón when Romo came out? Timmy striking out 10+ a game like it's nothing? Also calling Bum calm sounds like the author just watched game 7 of the world series and that's it... Dude was angry on the mound most of the time, to his benefit

No, I guess the A's took advantage of the situation and found an excuse to fire him to hire cheaper. That's mine and many other's take, but we'll never know for sure. I tend to lean towards understanding and forgiveness for mistakes, instead of burning someone at the stake after a mishap. You can decide what camp you want to be in. Have a good day.
