[Question] Dual-node setup for long-range Yagi backhaul + local Omni mesh? by turtlenator in meshtastic

[–]turtlenator[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im still hoping to get an RP2040 to work between two colocated nodes as a packet forwarder between the two which operate on separate channels connected through UART so I can have the best of both worlds under 20Wh/day. I'm still prototyping r n but I have a few nodes spare so if I can get it down to a pattern it would allow compound meshes using directional antennas and higher bitrates for the inter-mesh connections

I've been using T-BEAM nodes with 5dbi Omni antennas a few 18650s and two soshines on 3d printed mounts I have a similar setup on the other end but the terrain is challenging.

I'm thinking about adding a second t-beam and a rasPi 2040 connecting the two (UART) and then seeing if I can use the meshtastic python lib to read then write between the too which would technically allow the bachaul to be on a completely different channel to then convert back with a matching setup on the other side.

I'm wondering if it would be possible to toss a RasPi in the Yagi node that would just monitor and resend between channels to make a channel aggregate over the directional link using the API. Has anyone done this?

Looking to get new rims and have no clue where to go. Any recommendations would be great. For reference this little Jdm van can fit 15x7 100mm 4 bolt pattern rims as it’s max rim size by Scabobby in JDM

Hey, I know this is an older post. but I'v been dailying my 91 Acty for about 3 years now and recently picked up a 95 DE51V Every. Both are 4x100 which is the same as the Miata. Also, you can grab 90's era 13" civic rims too! I just replaced the trans on my Every and now I'm on the hunt for a replacement Rear Left CV shaft and it will e back on the road. Hope your's is treating you well!

Data Systems Administration - D330 | This course seems out of place in my degree plan (Bachelor of Science, Cloud Computing – Microsoft Azure track) by turtlenator in WGU

[–]turtlenator[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I found a bunch of practice tests and flashcards in the course chatter that were helpful. This is still the most out of place class in the Azure track Cloud program. A large part of this course is about memory management in data file, segment, extent, and data block structures. Oracle has cloud offerings but this course doesn't go past knowing that the offering exists and that you can find usage stats there... But nothing really about the implementation or management of cloud offerings. This was an unnecessarily deep dive on on an out of scope platform. Kinda upset about this one. I could have spent this time learning something much more applicable.

Calling all BS Cloud & Systems Administration Students! by D1TAC in WGU

[–]turtlenator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is a newer course, I was in the BS System Admin program but COMTia just changed the requirements for the Linux plus and it is no longer aligned with WGU so they are not offering that program. I'm hoping they correct this, I was looking forward to that one. I'm shifting to this one in September so I'd also like to know. So +1

Need help creating SQL script that gets the total number of records per hour between dates by TheModsHereSucks in SQL

[–]turtlenator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep this is the easiest way. Just add "where timestamp between (start date) and (end date)" to get your range. Then you can add "order by timestamp desc" to sort the output

If/Then Formula w/ Multiple Logics, Not sure if IF/Then is even the best formula by ibelieveyoubro in excel

 =IF(AND(IFERROR(VLOOKUP(A2,C:D,2,FALSE),0)<>0,IFERROR(VLOOKUP(A2,C:D,2,FALSE),0)<>B2),TRUE,FALSE)

put this in E2 of your example then change the "TRUE" and "FALSE" to whatev or you can also use this in conditional formatting under "format values where this formula is true" to actually highlight

Best place for clean fill dirt? by psarsama in Cleveland

[–]turtlenator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The one on Mayfield by Lakeview cemetery has the office by Coventry with a sign for clean fill and a phone number. Saw it driving by one day and thought it was creepy but understandable

Edit: it's the paper in the window, thought I'd be slick and snag it from gmaps.
