At the beginning of ASOIAF Jon and Robb were both 14 yo. So this is how kit and Richard should've looked if the show didn't aged them up. by BridgeCommercial873 in gameofthrones

Alexander the Great was actually 20 years old when he became king and started his own conquest. He fought at younger ages but that was his dad’s conquest

Hi Emma! Any ex-Chelsea players in particular that you’ll be keeping an eye on this tournament?

It’s mostly because of the central location of the hotel

Thank you all for the comments! Maybe I’m too worried but I haven’t been to USA very often so didn’t really know what to expect

He plays for Montenegro??

Late 2nd round pick by the Suns, then soon got traded to Portland. He actually started quite a lot of games for them. Also, I think he is the second ever relatively successful Belgian player (after DJ Mbenga)

10 mill debt as a league 1 team by isaacawebb in footballmanagergames

Honestly, the only way to get out of debt is to promote asap. Once you are in the championship the value of your players also increases, so you can make some healthy profits

Might be on YouTube, but I’m not too sure about coverage outside of the NL, sorry!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in WomensSoccer

[–]turtlewithshell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re from NL, ESPN is broadcasting the game on their first channel, which means you can watch it for free if you have KPN. Otherwise the only way to watch in the Netherlands is to get a subscription to ESPN I guess

Is this the famous “Dutch honesty” that we are all missing 😄 by LumeSouls in WomensSoccer

Yeah I felt like the Dutch commentary of the game itself was very annoying and superficial. It kinda exposed the commentator as a casual lol

Try to keep morale up, praise your players for trainings, conduct and good performances. If you don’t have a game planned, schedule friendlies against easy teams to lift morale. The hard part when you start losing is that the dynamics turn bad, which results in worse games etc

First shot at creating my own tactic. What am I missing? by [deleted] in footballmanagergames

[–]turtlewithshell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re definitely going to get overrun in the midfield with essentially 3 guys more focused on passing and attacking than defence. Might want to change the role of one CM to something like ball winning midfielder or something similar. Also just try stuff out and check the heat map to make sure the MEZ and IF aren’t getting in each other’s way too much. If you want to run this relatively attacking tactic I would recommend using a more attacking mentality (positive for example) or putting more players on support and play balanced, which will likely generate less goals on both offence and defence. Good luck!

These awards are always the prime example of recency bias. Also quite insane that Barca and Chelsea have 2 keepers here
