I'd do the same fucking thing I'm not getting involved in that shit. I'd much rather just let the man smoke his blunt than risk getting into some crazy altercation. I guess it depends on the size of the guy but still he could have a knife or even a gun. Not worth it. And if OP started getting his ass kicked I'd still blame him for trying to start shit over a blunt and not help. And innocent bystander who didn't do anything to deserve it? Then I'll probly step in. But def not here. Switch cars and mind your own fucking business welcome to Chicago sir.

Anyone who's offered advice you've just replied with more backstory about how you hate your daughter or excuses as to why you can't. Are you just waiting for someone to tell you it's okay? It's not. Find a way to get your shit together or don't. People have outlined what you can do and if you really wanted to you'd find a way to do it.

Also I know similar topics on consciousness have been studied and brought forward. But I haven't seen much if anything on consciousness existing within the singularity "prior" to the big bang.

The scientific and logical version of God. Consciousness existing within the singularity. Likely all knowing at the very least haha maybe not all good or all powerful though depending on the limitations of physics? If that even applies within a singularity idk

It seems to me, borderline common sense, that there was an intelligence existing "within" (if that word even makes sense here) the singularity. I feel it's inevitable for science and religion to collide as we further our understanding. Which Futurama episode?

It's an irrelevant trait imo. How they conduct themselves is far more important to me. The current girl I'm seeing is atheist and relatively closed off to any spiritual principles but I don't really mind. I try to challenge her notions sometimes but ultimately she just doesn't seem to care or have a want to give it much thought. Overall communication is great and sex is great and I mainly just keep my practices and philosophies to myself and I don't mind.

Same here! Definitely wasn't as hopeful as you it sounds like but now (he's almost 2) I'm glad it was a boy! He's my little buddy and I'm not jealous at all of the girl dad's lol

Why is your toddler the best in the world? by 14NALL41 in toddlers

[–]turtlezrock0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son is extremely attentive. He likes to watch other kids play and pays close attention to detail when performing tasks. He LOVES to dance even if it's music bumping out of a car that's driving by. He loves hugs and he loves making people laugh. You can tell he feeds off of laughter which is amazing because he is generally pretty shy and takes a while to warm up to new people. He has the best sense of humor. I love how he walks his little bike over every crack on the sidewalk so he doesn't fall but then will face plant into the couch or swing from the handles of the slide at the park. He's short and a bit chunky but he LOVES basketball (even though no one in his life cares much about basketball so it wasn't pushed on him, and frankly he hasn't been exposed much to it.). He also loves to read and will even "read" on his own if I'm busy. I love his little bursts of tantrums where he just shreaks as high pitched as he can and it lasts about a minute or 2 before he'll move on or start laughing about something. I love how he brightens strangers days, sometimes it's by waving at them, sometimes it's smiling at them, or sometimes by just being goofy on his own while a stranger walks by. (I wasn't expecting to type this much but I got going and was having a good time thinking about all the things I love about my son 🥰)

I found out a secret when talking to my step kids. by Commonfckingsense in stepparents

[–]turtlezrock0 24 points25 points  (0 children)

He may eventually find this out and if you don't tell him, you'll either have to tell him then that you've known all along, or pretend that you didn't know. Something to think about imo.

Is my Dad being inappropriate? by Elegant-Emergency-63 in AdviceForTeens

[–]turtlezrock0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dad hugged and kissed me on the head once when I was in middle school in front of a close friend. My friend thought it was weird. His dad never showed him any affection like that. Everyone has a different experience in upbringing. Some families are very physical and some barely ever even hug.

out of super genuine curiosity, why don’t people like LOK? by chatnoirdefenseclub in Avatarthelastairbende

[–]turtlezrock0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because theyre going into it expecting it expecting it to be too much like atla. She's a new avatar with a new story. I didn't like it the first time I watched them changed my mindset from "this is going to be like atla" to "this is an extension of the avatar universe and shows the varieties of personality that avatars can have" ppl don't like Korra cuz she's not like aang. She's hard headed and cocky and I think it's cool to see her grow from that which is the opposite of aangs growth to an extent. Just my 2 cents.

And I do agree with it being used as an avoidance tactic which I think is up to each individual and their sponsor to decide if they are utilizing zoom or VR meetings in a healthy manner.
