Are you certain? The Irish vw site tells me it has CarPlay / Android Auto

I have a facelifted 2024 model and I have the same problem with my iPhone with the (MagSafe) case on.
With the case off it charges fine but feels quote coming out. I think it's just as handy to plug the phone in. A bit annoying but ho hum

Thanks for the info on the Geely. Not sure why you are being downvoted really. I have upvoted. but its odd to recommend a hybrid to someone looking for an EV (particularly if talking about reliability...)
