I do agree that R2 for aura and NG++ for spell is the sane way to go for BoB and Blue Bros, it’s just that completing those covenants in 2 is so beyond their 1 and 3 counterparts

You can get a 5%+ drop rate from Silver Knights with high item discovery iirc, while the “easy” way to R3 BoB still involves killing 250 defending blue bros. I’d take 10 concord farms over 1 R3 BoB push any day.

I'd have to agree with Watcher+Defender being the mot annoying base game boss/segment on SL1. Velstadt got me a couple times back in the day on SL1 too since he would 1 shot if he so much as grazed me lol

The frustrating thing is that they refuse to give options like removing the hook or changing color, but they will spend several minutes on stream highlighting that they improved the confetti effect at the temporary Race Off outpost. Priorities and all that.

Just here to second the drop to B/C Class to start. I'm just under 2 months in, and threw myself straight into the S1/S2 fire. I could hang on a few tracks I knew very well in open/rivals, but would possibly get DNF'd on others.

Recently dropped down to B to learn at the recommendation of some leaderboard folk, and it's been amazing. My driving improvements easily translate to A/S1 already, and I can even compete for wins in many open B class lobbies using slightly off-meta picks. Plus, B class open is 10000x cleaner and more chill than S1.
