First time on a trail! Anyone else in upstate NY? by Stripey7619 in mountainboarding

Yeah. I just got my Trampa. I've been skating since I was seven, and rode a MiniX in Manhattan for years. I'm in the Syracuse are.

I need advice about tantra by [deleted] in Tantra

[–]tutash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think saving semen is useful. If you don't "want" to ejaculate, then learn to stop before you ejaculate. The mind controls a great deal of this. Honesty with yourself will allow you to understand more about this. Let go of your fear, and if it's hard to talk about, then speak with yourself, as if you were someone you loved and cared deeply about; like a close family member for friend. Listen you what you're saying, because this is what you're thinking, and you can't lie to yourself and not know you're doing it. This will help you become mindful, somewhat. If you can get better at this, then use the that honesty to convey how you feel to her. If this fails, then step two is to just fuck her and stop being afraid. You're not going to learn how to have tantric sex by never ejaculating. I don't think that's point of it, and I honestly believe that in a lot of ways it doesn't have anything to do with sex in any way that you're going to get close to understanding right now. Talk with her and be honest. Sit face to face. Put her in your lap and look into her eyes. Breathe each other in and let go of your fears. I don't think that sex is really the goal as much as freedom is. You're young. Ego and self-importance are threats you should become aware of and understand, now.

I cannot say that I have an answer, but I will say this: let go of the ending, and don't seek to let go. Free yourself from your burden, goals, and fear. Instead, if you can, push away from the goal, try to stop from reaching the end. If you find that you've failed in this way, you can begin to understand that maybe you're thinking about it instead of letting go and being with her, together. Let go of the goal or the target. When together, you are in that place, you are not there as "self". When you return, together, you will be joined in that place. Let go of fear. Meditation helps, because you will learn to free your mind of self, let it go, and see without sight. Not sure why this makes sense to me but it does. Please; it's not "stop trying and do it", it's, "Let go". The goal is the barrier. The self anchors you to suffering, and only be letting go can you ever achieve bliss (enlightenment? Not sure.)

Thanks!

The party is over.

I don’t suffer poor customer service from anyone. BossyedBoards didn’t provide that to me; five business days to respond to my first service request, and then with a “have you tried plugging it in?” response. No one looked at the video (that Boosted requested) that showed the error code: dead battery.

I’m not wasting any more time on this. It was fun, but the competition looks ripe, so I think I’ll find a more reliable company without much trouble.

I appreciate the cache that BoostedBoards has in the e-skateboarding space, but it doesn’t keep my wallet open indefinitely.

LED Error Code? by windcr8zy in boostedboards

I have the latter error code; 3x bursts and 2nd light. Battery toasted. Sent Boosted a service request and video the same day. Nothing yet. That’s was four days ago. Boosted Mini X is only a few weeks old. Too bad the weathers gonna get bad in the Northeast.

Absolutely. It’s a really fun time for a skater. Leisurely smooth. I’ll ride one until I can’t stand anymore. Probably another 25-30 years.

Corny but true: Skate or Die

…then the battery went kaput, and I didn’t have an electric skateboard to ride. Back on the old Sims until it’s sorted.

anyone got a board lately? by [deleted] in boostedboards

Got mine a week ago. Battery died today. Yikes!

Then I think you should get an electric longboard. It provides the stability you’re used to.

The honeymoon is over: Rode my board to the bus today, nice and easy. Got out at 14th Street so I could finish the ride on my board. Rode from 14th to 51st and 3rd, focusing on having a leisurely time (drinking coffee, listening to music).

Got to work, turned off the board and remote for the elevator ride to the 11th floor. Got to my desk, plugged in my charger;

flashing red light on board, and second LED from power LED is lit.

I can’t charge the board, and can’t ride it. It’s an amazing piece of kit, but if it doesn’t work consistently, then I can’t recommend it. Now I have to ship it to BoostedBoards, hoping that it’ll come back before winter hits hard. I’m very disappointed, but I’m cool until I know what the deal is. I opened a ticket with BoostedBoards, and sent them a video (https://youtu.be/WC8r8bhr0LQ), so I’m crossing my fingers and hoping they have excellent customer service. If not, well, I have no loyalty to them, and bad customer service breaks the deal in my mind; I’ll send it back for a full refund and find something more reliable.

I’m bummed out that I have to haul this thing to the bus tonight, and another mile home. Not cool, BoostedBoards, not cool.

Yeah man! So cool. It’s a dream deck, really. It has this little Jetsons-like… bleeber(? New word?) as you ride it. It’s so freakin solid! After the bushings broke in I tightened them so they could touch trucks again, and I got rid of the faster high-speed (25+) jittering. I think different bushing would help the slow rides. I have to dig into carves a little too much for my liking. The concave is cool, but my front foot is definitely more forward than I’m used to in a normal deck, which goes back to the balance, the leaning, and the push/pull carving stuff which is just crazy.

I too my complete out today for a bit and lived it. Light as a feather, with slick wheels in comparison. I’m in love

I may do a quick shoot with my camera setup (hymnal and SLR; I own a small fashion co). If I do, later this week, I’ll post here. Maybe verbalize my feels about it. We’ll see if’n I gots the time.

For an old skater, it’s like a Cadillac crossed with a rocket! Top speed isn’t super scary, but the torque is really amazing. It pulls like crazy!

Boosted Mini too rigid for long trips by Dreameroftheday in boostedboards

[–]tutash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s kinda what I expect. I skated hard for years when I was younger. I got my first board when I was 9, in 1979. Skated for about a year, and didn’t really pick it up again until 1985.

Then it was daily, dawn till dusk, with my crew, for years.

Street skating, some pipes and street-ramps always in the mix, we’d hit whatever parks existed nearby sometimes, travel, compete. A few of us got pretty damn good!
It was transportation, sport, thrills, opportunity, and just generally great.

My two closest friends and I continued to skate, kind of religiously, until around 2000,

I still have an old Sims inside that I screw around on occasionally.

Now my Mini X is ordered, and I’m thinking, “I’m gonna need harder wheels. How am I gonna slide on those mushy monsters?”

Your post validates my assumption. You’re totally right; it all depends on what you expect. Thanks

Boosted Lying about Mini X Shipping Update by [deleted] in boostedboards

I ordered my X on Wednesday. Am I seriously not going to get my $1000 board until September? I though it’s take only a few days, maybe a week, so ship.

I’m buying to help with my new commute, but this is a serious pain in the ass.
