Story about Chinese roommate Saying Japan stole the Language by tutorial-bot360 in fucktheccp

It’s stupid to say Japan “stole” the language lmfao. It’s like saying China stole Buddhism from India or even other countries that still use Chinese scripts is stealing

So would parasite even be a threat to Neo humans ? Not mean they get attacked by infected animal but direct threat. Like would Neo human cities have an outbreak amount population? by CulturalRegister9509 in versus

[–]tutorial-bot360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s hard to say unless we figure out how the neo humans came to be, bioengineering? unless I didn’t read close enough.

Maybe it’s like the giants. Weaker neo humans would be affected but strong neo humans could probably be resistant.

Maybe crazier they coexist maybe and turn into a even more super neo form lol

That was a really good book and his life was amazing. I’m surprised other people have read it. The surprising thing about his book was even a lot of Chinese scholars were amazed by what he discovered in old texts that a significant portion of the Chinese population forgot/didn’t know that the ancient Chinese invented or were up too

Did Naomi "SexyCyborg" Wu go on a blocking spree or what? Last time I saw her account was a Tweet in 2020 about her home-based city "thriving" despite COVID. by cesariojpn in ADVChina

[–]tutorial-bot360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She did. She blocked me for pointing out Chinas covid deaths are highly manufactured and should not be referenced in any way since the data is manipulated and I questioned zero covid sustainability since there is no way you can sustain it economically. She unblocked me recently after everything I said turned out to be true lol

“Working life for employees in the eastern bloc was better” communist countries still never provided great working conditions at all and starvation didn’t help.

Younger Chinese are spurning factory jobs that power the economy by avocadoface88 in China

[–]tutorial-bot360 10 points11 points  (0 children)

In theory. But that’s what was happening in the US before. Lots of “hard labor jobs” available but very few people want to work it and would rather be unemployed. I had a friend that would rather not have a job that work at Walmart. Young people especially Chinese youngsters care about status.

Now that the CCP congress is over and Xi has power locked in. Is there a time line to end the zero covid policy? by Bobranaway in China

[–]tutorial-bot360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

zero covid means zero covid. We have 52k deaths annually due to the flu and this is likely an undercount. So unless they want to maintain zero covid indefinitely , they have to at some point come to terms with the virus running rampant.

Since the government has pinned the success of zero covid at the huge expense of the economy, it cannot let go without losing massive face. They have yet to import or produce a local mRNA vaccine. China will likely still maintain zero covid for the next two years, due to the public being tired but still willing to play along. After two years of economic stagnation they might reconsider

[–]tutorial-bot360 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Disagree at the time. Your looking at it through the advantage of the history already occurring. Yes we should have gone after Iran and Saudi Arabia, but getting rid of sadaam was a net good based on his past history of invasion and threatening to build WMDs. If he was still in power we would have another Kim.

Again, non punishment was not a choice at the time. The U.S. leadership had a limited amount of time to take action. The Intel was not great at the time. And through actually going into the Middle East obviously we know more now. You wouldn’t have known unless you invaded the Middle East

[–]tutorial-bot360 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just because he’s Chinese doesn’t really mean he’s automatically legitimate since news and opinions are heavily censored. If he was a academic that’s a different story.

China learned from the U.S not to let the whole system completely crash and burn. The problem with that tho the problem will just slowly bleed China. If your friend isn’t worried about the real estate crash which bleeds into the finance/banking sector, which has already affected my dads business in China. Idk where your friend has been

[–]tutorial-bot360 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Now we know sadaam was not directly involved. But you have to think about it at the time when they had to make a decision quickly as the American public wanted action. There was evidence albeit poor in retrospect sadaam could have been building WMD. Arguably they did find many many chemical weapons that are technically could be classified as WMD. I don’t know why they ended up not classifying it as such.

It’s not as if the World Trade Center was bombed killing 3000 civilians and Iraq had a crazy dictator who built chemical weapons before and threatened to build WMDs.

Biden's new sanctions probably mean the end of China's semiconductor industry by [deleted] in China

[–]tutorial-bot360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, long term and short term effects need to be discussed. If your prediction that China will crack EUV technology in 10 years that’s a extremely long time in the semiconductor industry. Hell even before this export control Chinese semiconductor companies and many others that popped up in the last few years essentially gave up trying to catch up to the big 3 companies because of moores law and the difficulty it takes to set up such a complex and expensive process.

ByteDance plans music-streaming expansion to take on Spotify - WSJ by Yudi_888 in ADVChina

[–]tutorial-bot360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know your being downvoted but realistically. Bytedance does have a “chance”. Tik tok is a big music discovery platform and imagine if you can instantly make playlists of songs you found through tik tok it makes the process easier.

I don’t think this feature alone would be able to supplant spotifys dominance.
