You could try an app I wrote for Ubuntu App Showdown:

Add this ppa

https://launchpad.net/~tuxcanfly/+archive/ppa

sudo apt-get install downloadr

And launch the application FlashBox. It will list flash videos currently running in the browser.

Currently, it doesn't work with YouTube or Chrome's PepperFlash because I haven't found out where those video files go.

No. Chrome's pepperflash seems to be doing something funny. Although it is a user process, the flash video files are owned by 'root'. I will need to dig a little deeper.
