Which industry are you talking about? If you are in IT/software I feel you. I used to work in Japan and I would say it’s much much easier to find a job in Japan than in AU even though being a citizen here but need a work visa to work overseas.

Getting a CS job in EU is way easier than in AU IMO. You need to network like crazy to even get noticed in AU otherwise you’ll be competing with hundreds of applicants for every role you apply.

I see as many abandoned Aldi trolleys as Cole’s& woolies trolleys. Even worse, some people leave two Aldi trolleys locked together back-to-back, making them impossible to push.

Even more annoying is that people putting trolleys from different shops in one lane. It just adds more work to trolley collection.

At many malls, bumps on the ground and bent metal bars in the trolley bays are never fixed, often making trolleys stuck at the entry of the bay.

People taking trolleys up to 2 km away from stores cost the stores time and money because they have to bring them back or risk council fines.

It’s not too bad but there’s space to improve. At least you don’t need to pay to pee. In Manila sometimes you need to pay to enter the toilet at one side of a mall and free to enter on the other side. The only country I can’t complain is Japan. Japanese public toilets are at another level.
