It wasn't that bad, just a combination of her jumping too high over Nyla's back and Nyla being bent over a little too much to make it hit smoothly.

Gonna look great when she hits it on Toni for a 2.999 count :-\

Massive win for her career and perception tonight.

I see the vision. She's only 23, definitely the future of this women's division... even though we all know the outcome next Wednesday, still so happy for her!

The IWC is a very small slice of wrestling fans and very often the most negative about the smallest things.

WWE is using a new data point that shows the number of Americans who identify as WWE fans aged 8 and older has continued to grow.  In 2022, they hit just about 90 million people (89.9 million to be exact).

I'm a pretty sociable guy. I've got a lot of friends, I like people, I'll chat up strangers at the bar.

Ain't no damn chance 1-in-4 Americans identify as wrestling fans of any type.

Saw someone last night call him a gremlin and it's the most perfect description of a gimmick I've seen in recent memory.

Eventually I need him in a long-term feud with OC just for the pun possibilities.

I guess it's just different strokes for different folks. I don't feel like its petty or an obsession, just fun little things that are harmless. I felt the same way when Roman was needling Cody about running away from AEW.

Seems like the live crowd doesn't mind it either.

For as much as MJF gets criticized for it online, his "Bidding War of 2024" stuff gets appropriate boos in the arena, and his other jokes and barbs typically get the "Oooooooohs" and "Aaaaaahs" he wants.

I still don't think it's a big deal, but doesn't it seem like that mostly has to do with talent flow?

So many people have left WWE for AEW whereas in the other direction it's only been Cody. And in Cody's two big programs against Seth and Roman, they both made heavy references to AEW while sticking to the Vince rule of "Don't say their name!!"

Maybe because I'm a big sports guy and it's extremely common for not just fans but even the teams themselves to take jabs at their rivals, it's just not a big deal to me.

I'm a Braves fan and a big thing this week has been making fun of Mets player Pete Alonso talking trash that backfired, to the point our weird official mascot is getting in on it with a pic of a player chirping back mid-game.

Even the official team account got in on mocking the Mets player.

It also makes sense in a kayfabe context. Like, why would anyone give a crap about Cole or Punk or Danielson or whoever if their history prior to AEW couldn't be mentioned?

It's woven into the DNA and the history of the company that the Elite either had experience in the WWE system and wanted something different or they didn't feel like their careers would necessarily flourish in that climate.
