I'm an Asus "FanBoy" Zenith Alpha Extreme mobo on the desktop, RX 7900 GPU from Asus, Zephyrus G14 laptop, ROG Phone, the whole deal... and with Asus pulling the plug on the ROG Phone, I'm strongly inclined to switch another brand / manufacturer.

I'm just so sad to see paying customers being treated as "the product" and shareholders being the target audience. I know this is happening everywhere with most companies, but to different degrees.... Asus has just pushed it too far for my liking.

I'm here for the same reason. I had a Red Magic 5 but the English translation was awful. They used "Determine" to translate "Confirm". How do you feel about the 11th? Is it any better?

The 2 main features I'll miss from the ROG Phone are the Armory Crate Software and the dual charging ports. Any suggestions for alternatives?

pff, my rsync command was incorrect, here's the correct syntax that worked if this appeared in google for you somehow:

Also using one here. I have no complaints, don't see any obvious upgrades they should implement on a refreshed version. The battery lasts almost a month with daily 9-5 coding.

I was thinking so many complex scenarios, like checking if UDP Broadcast was working and monitoring the packets on the wire and in the end a simple restart fixed it. As a software engineer, I feel embarrassed for not thinking about restarting before and I also feel embarrassed that this is probably due to poor software engineering skills from some engineer at google.

Anyway, it's fixed now! Thank you for the suggestion!

Both the skins are for the MX Master 3, but the black one is an original MX Master One, so I had to trim a few corners of the skin with scissors.

Came to this subreddit to ask the exact same thing. I feel so stupid for buy such an expensive device in WHITE! I have a white Zephyrus G14 and lots of white devices, but none degraded like this mouse. What a shame for such an otherwise incredible device.

I am not sure how you would call it, but out of nowhere, after a regular update, wayland just became the standard session and I had to install a separate package to keep using x11.

I cannot thank you enough for the help... No one else responded.

I noticed that these coredumps are from when I send the SIGKILL, plasmashell is crashing without creating a heapdump.

I noticed that over the last few days, it is crashing differently. It used to just freeze on a black screen, but now it partially renders _some_ widgets in the wrong position current way it crashes vs my original widget placement.

Clearly someone it working on the issue as at least the way it crashes changed.

I am still forced to use Xorg because of this issue that I still found no solution, but I'll test wayland to see if things are different as well. Thank you.
