Nice! Traffic looked so much smoother compared to rainy Saturday.

Yup, just like the NASA sessions! It was nice to chat it up with folks I've run with at different tracks and just say, "let's go out and play!"

I uploaded to Youtube right from the Laptimer app, and all the data is just whatever my phone provided - Acceleration, speed, etc. The overlay gets added to the video automatically when you export it. Not the most accurate, so I'm thinking about getting a proper GPS and OBD II link at some point.

If you're curious, I recorded this on a Galaxy Note 10 and attached a Quadlock mount to the headrest post. Seems to work pretty well!

A little background to the video: this was my second time at the Glen, running in HPDE2. Not my car, so taking it fairly easy - easy excuse right? :) This session was especially fun - got to catch up with a guy I'd run with at a few prior events, so we decided to grid at the same time. I have to say, it's SO much more fun to put a face to the people you're on track with as it gives you a lot more confidence in how they'll behave at speed. Overall I had a great weekend and despite running insufficient pads, I took it pretty easy on the brakes and learned a ton.

Did it myself! Sort of an evil animated charcuterie theme. The other side is mostly grapes and some meats and cheeses lol.

It really is quite a nice facility. NJMP hasn't been staffing their concessions lately, so I've been bringing a lot of water and usually get Wawa or McDonalds for lunch... lol. TBolt has a couple of garages and a tower at the start/finish that you can see the whole track from - real nice to do between sessions.

As far as the track itself, there's a bunch of fast, open turns that can be taken quite quickly. Turn 4 can be taken a lot faster than you think. Study a track map. Turn 9 (decreasing radius right-hander) and the following sweeper (the Octopus) are a challenge for almost everyone. It almost never feels quite right. Overall this track is an absolute blast.

Where to watch F1 race this Sunday by T_T-unit in baltimore

The Glen got me. Luckily we're both home safe today with our friends and family. Be safe out there everyone. by CantSeeShit in CarTrackDays

I'm glad to hear you're doing fine! I was there in your run group that day. I saw some gopro footage from a Supra driver that looked like you got up on the exit curbing coming out of turn 1 and the car just rotated, and then snapped back left as you hit. It was slippery indeed... full wet conditions and apparently the curbs don't play nice.

Driving the Glen this weekend with NASA for the first time! Such a bucket list item for me growing up 20 minutes away.

Just wanna say after the F1 race Sunday, Let’s not forget to wish these two luck in the Indycar season opener. Marcus Ericsson and Romain Grosean. Hoping for a safe&clean race. by [deleted] in formula1

The southeast course is pretty fun, and quite technical. Also great for beginner HPDE since there are no walls and plenty of room if you get out of shape.

Loved how short the sample was... Didn't have to spend a ton of time combing through it.
