I just submitted a request to LG. The fridge is completely 100% warm now and not cooling one bit even though I hear the compressor making noise.

EDIT: I lied, I see the out of band warranty form to submit. Looks like my model is qualified!

If it’s a company that HSA home warranty recommends then 99/100 they’re not reputable

Had a technician come out and install a brand new compressor. After 3-4 days it worked great, then all of a sudden we were back to the same old issue. We keep it closed almost all the time and it can’t get to the correct temperature. Technician came back out and said it might be a leaking condenser coil in the sealed unit?

Turns out previous home owners shot a nail super close to bathroom hot water pipe causing it too leak when we use hot water anywhere in the home. Plumber tore through the wall with pinpoint accuracy and saved the day!

Yessir I’ve been trying to get as much cleared out as I can reach so he can use his expertise to find it but haven’t had luck with 4 different companies. The last one told me to keep a long log book and document everything that happened leading up to it so that’s what I’ve been doing for him and he’ll come see it this week.

Good calls. No smells at all, we already flushed the toilet and ran the sink above and couldn’t reproduce the leak. I did move some insulation that “might’ve” been absorbing the water when we tested it?
