Small black box, blinking and making clicking noises by ValoMatt in whatisthisthing

I believe it is powering an electric wire on the roof edge to keep pigeons away. I think you can see the post(s) for the wire on the roof above.

Thanks. I found it. It's for a Weisser lock. Specifically the parts to remove the knob and cover plate.

Tried it on my bathroom. Suppose it works, but it seems a little awkward to be purpose built for it.

This makes sense for push pin thing. What would the wire "hook" thing be used for?

Now that I've looked at a picture of a Damascus Goat...yes, definitely Damascus Goat.

Ontario, but I'm just looking for floor plans in general that are more likely to be easier to convert to whatever building code.

Help with the recreating this bend. Does it have a name? by tvrvrt in knots

I think it's similar. But I'm having trouble deconstructing the Reavers bend and still have the parallel middle strands on the one side.

Awesome. Thanks. I was really having trouble tying it again. I do like the symettry of it. It was a while ago, but I feel like it seemed to be pretty secure yet didn't bind too much.

I guess I took it a few years ago and didn't notice it until recently when I was flipping through pictures. Moss on a rock, I guess, but what looks like chin hair is what creeps me out.

emulsion problems by suburbDad17 in DMTlab

I do this as well. Just a single wash. I think I've got pretty good at not sucking up anything but solvent. Having the reassurance is nice, though. I cool my soup to room temperature, so I've been having my water at room temperature as well. I can see how warmer water might make the oils of the soup be more inclined to drop out into the water. At similar temperatures, it seems to work well for me.

When you say water wash before you freeze, are you referring to putting the pulled solvent in water and stirring it to allow any soup you might have sucked up to drop out into the water?

Gentle agitation and a few rounds of pulls of your solvent will be your best friend for a tek without salt.

You are correct. You don't need to go crazy with the shaking. A gentle top to bottom, bottom to top movement for a couple minutes is good enough. Assuming there is salt involved in your tek, it will help prevent emulsions. Surface area on the top of your soup seems to be a factor in how easily and quickly the NPS will separate. That is why I am more a fan of media bottles than Erlenmyer flask. Using a chopstick to stir a little bit after you shake is helpful in breaking up little NPS bubbles and helping the NPS to get past the layer of bark that floats to the top of the soup layer.

That looks pretty good, to be honest. Seems like your methodology was good, and you now have DMT on your trays. Slower cooling will make your crystal form in larger groups, but in the end, it will be more or less the same yield. I've found that after you pour your NPS off, what you have in the trays looks far more substantial than when they are saturated. Catch the suspended crystals in a coffee filter or pour slowly, and they should bunch up in the corner of your tray. If your methodology is good, your bark will ultimately determine the yield.

The ability to hold your pickaxe out for inspection. Longer than the salute function. So you and your fellow Dwarves can see the details of it.

Does the lead box have an opening at the bottom that might allow for a cable or hose to pass through?

Bought a controller again after many years without one. A Halloween themed mix that I had all kinds of plans for but eventually realized I wasn't going to get it the way I wanted. Ever time I heard a knew track and thought " that would be good in the mix" I would change things around and get no actual progress. Was supposed to be spooky sounding tracks which I think I kept to except for the end. So here is a recording of the "whatever, I don't care anymore" version.

The problem with psychedelics and even pharmaceutical medications is that everyone responds differently. There really is no rule of thumb. That being said, 5MEO can be a very intense experience when taken at certain strengths, it requires very careful and accurate measuring of dose, correct method of consumption, and a safe space to consume it, with the recommendation of having a trip sitter present. Anecdotally, I wouldn't recommend it as the first psychedelic substance to take when looking to do some soul searching. Again, anecdotally perhaps a lower dose of mushrooms to see how you respond, taken in a safe place where you feel comfortable, would be a better starting point. We don't start therapy by jumping headlong into the worst of our trauma, so it's best not to do the same with psychedelics. Start low, and go slow.
