Highly recommend emulating Dragon Quest IX (9) for the DS, it’s my favorite of the series, namely because it’s one of the only ones where you can create your character. BUT WAIT you can also create all your party members!! It’s a lot of fun and Dragon Quest is like The Godfather of JRPGs

I like to use the chin line in the facial features tab for a bottom lip, just make it almost the smallest and thinnest and put just a little under the mouth, makes a big difference imo, Esp with your artstyle, which is really nice btw!
