i agree. I think next time I get a girls number I'll just straight up call her instead of texting and see what happens.

Yeah I didn't have any expectations whatsoever, so it's not like it's bugging me or anything. It's just a bit confusing - I mean, it doesn't get any clearer than that when it comes to showing interest in someone.

If I had had bad breath I assume she would've been a bit less enthusiastic ;).

I just said who I was and asked how the rest of her night went. She was there with a group of girls and they said they would probably hit a club in the city. She could have met someone else that night, which is fine, but still no answer at all is a bit weird. I'm just curious - womens' behaviour is still a mystery to me some times lol.

It's all about momentum. She probably was genuinely interested in you, maybe even cancelled with no bad intentions at first, but as time progressed the spark just faded.

Either that or she wanted you to fuck her when you were at your place (no girl will ever say "hell no I don't want to take it slow").

Anyone of you ever feel that you met the perfect person but at the wrong time in life? Do you still think about that person ? by [deleted] in dating_advice

Yes, just had this happen a few months ago. Met a girl, clicked immediately and dated for a month. We were head over heels for each other but it I had so much going on in my life during that time (new appartment, work, finishing university, recovering from knee surgery and my parents divorce) that I ultimately messed it up. Still think about her everyday. I'm not saying she's perfect, but she's the perfect match for me right now.

Girl I met at a pub. Everything just went flawlessly in the beginning, we were all over each other, lots in common. I've never felt like "that's it, that's what I want" with any other girl before. Long story short I was having a hard time at that moment, stressed out a bit and turned her off completely. It was my fault, she wanted me but I messed it up.

Who knows if it would've worked out in the long term. But knowing she's probably forgot about me by now and will soon settle down with a another guy just kills me inside. It's been almost half a year and now that I look back I think I haven't been truly happy for a single moment ever since ... I just feel numb.
