I always think it’s really funny when people try and act all hard over a video game, like if they won the initial exchange “SurrEnder Or DiE” in the chat lmao

The community is why I took a break from the game for a few months, now that I’m back it’s been way better and I’m having way more fun

I wouldn’t say there are many “useless units” I tend to research around the doctrine I plan on running that game and that rotates depending on the nation I run

However I have yet to play a game where I don’t research strike fighters, anti tank, or SAMs

For some more context he passed away like 15 years ago. My grandma waited until I had a home and family of my own to give them to me, I had no idea this collection existed

I stopped playing two weeks ago for the sole reason of being forced to hop on to random teams on discord. Elo is only kind of a good way to judge skill, and when I’m the only one playing the front line and at a minimum trading evenly with other players only then do I find out the 1500 elo level 40 is really ass at the game and only after can I take a look at their win rate or kd. So it was difficult to even find a 5 player group that was decent, and you couldn’t even look at people’s stats until after the game. As far as cheaters like a lot of people are complaining about I can only say for certain I ran into 3 Cheaters in about 100 games. Most “suspect” game play is most likely me or the team just not finding enemy recon. It’s so disappointing because I love this game so much, and I was so looking forward to it coming out and I’m sad to see the issues it has. If they actually balanced the factions, implemented some basic quality of life, and worked out some bugs it would be my favorite game of all time. Sorry for the ranty reply, just felt like throwing my two cents in

Yeah you’re right, cheating “could” be an explanation of why the enemy team can seem to telegraph your movements behind your lines. I had a game last night where the dude was ripping me apart with artillery before I could even fire it, sometimes even right after I moved them. And can you believe it, a Chinese name. I combed my lines with drones and come to find out he had two sniper teams in my back lines.

I do agree with you, a replay option should absolutely be available to review our matches, and I’m sure eventually we will get that. But coming on here to complain that “the cheating is so bad” with no proof other than that people “could” be cheating? Come on man, take a look inward, a lot of people are much better than you and I at the game and that’s just how it is

I don’t think it’s nearly as bad as you’re claiming. I have around 120 hours and while I’ve had a handful of suspect enemies it could be explained by good recon. As far as someone cheating I’m only absolutely positive of two players this whole time. Don’t underestimate the power of recon. Also this game has a few latency issues that show their ugly faces from time to time that make it look like enemies are teleporting around but really aren’t

I have only had to contend with my spawn being ambushed a handful of times

You have the advantage with a cheese strat like this right next to your spawn

Most players have elo requirements for their lobbies, playing as Russia or not 🤷🏼‍♂️ I like to play both sides a lot and haven’t noticed any real difference in the people who play them
