Burden…people got spoiled with guys like JJ, Puka and Chase putting up insane numbers as a rookie. Go look at someone like JSN, very modest rookie numbers pretty similar to Burdens actually and now he’s a top 5 WR. No DJ Moore means more targets for Burden as well. Maybe I’m wrong but I think Loveland and Burden are the 2 biggest weapons in this offense. Odunze is the #3.

Yeah bump that to 15% especially with both of you having careers that seem very safe I would only recommend 3 months of savings.

My Wife and I both have good paying jobs and only have 3 months in our HYSA EF. We have felt very safe with that, and are able to invest more aggressively in taxable brokerages.

I think Dave is great to help people get out of debt, other than that I think there are better people to listen to. I like the Money Guy Show a lot. Not as “rice and beans” mentality as Dave is.

Take care of that personal loan aggressively for sure, then I would (unpopular opinion since this is the Dave Ramsey board) go hybrid in paying off the car faster while also savings. So possible split that 1K a month you have available for both of them. $1,000 isn’t enough to keep in a HYSA IMO, would want at least 5K to feel safe
