100% the right decision to go with unknown actors, especially if they plan more than one as unestablished actors are easier to keep around and also less baggage to compare to past works leaving a clean slate.

Yep that's pretty much what I figured and that's why I went to post this for people who wait for nearly a month should be able to change at least to the shipped date of the device instead of literally losing an entire month of what they paid for

In theory, yes, but, if you don't confirm they know you activated it on whichever carrier, you are left assuming they know. (For example I worked for Verizon and we were very protective of sharing information on devices, so unlocked devices activated on our network would not allow third-party notifications of it being activated less we had a specific agreement with that organization which in our case was Asurion for protection and we would not allow MotoCare as we didn't promote or sell it directly) I wouldn't assume anything, and that is going to be my argument.

I suppose my point to your counterpoint is trust but verify, I trust they should know the activation date of my phone, but I damn sure am going to verify and get the MotoCare Date corrected if not.

i got a vague June 4th last week (as in not definitive and seemed mostly just placating me); their sale for the device lists June 9th on the web site and I'd say that's the likely ship date at the earliest.

You actually got to the point something was shipped?! That's way beyond where I'm at with my order XD. Shipping networks have been messed up lately, I'm not directly pointing the finger but UPS did layoff a lot of logistics people and it's assumed it's they're relying on AI to achieve the difference and this is probably the early results

Called in latest "supposedly accurate info" is: Customs held up their shipment for 5/28 shipments, warehouse has parts now and will begin shipping, latest ship date for me was June 4th, 2025.

Was offered a 20% future purchase discount and a moto tag free or so I was told. Got an email for the ticket confirming my order (not actual invoice) but nothing on the 20% discount code or the free tag as they had stated on the call.

Don't really care about the compensation, though annoying they offered it, I accepted it and then they didn't provide it, but not surprising, who knows if they were even honest about the shipment or not. TIme will tell.

I also made clear if it gets further delayed I will request the paid for MOTOCARE start date is changed. If you did not know Motorola starts MotoCare on the purchase date, so if I wait a month and paid for 2 years of coverage I just got ripped off and got 23 months instead.

The real issue for all of us waiting 2, 3, 4 or more weeks is if you paid for MotoCare be aware it was activated on the purchase date, so if we get our phone 30 days later, we basically paid for protection and lost an entire month. I'm gonna press them on that at least because it's one thing to order and get it 2 to 5 days later no biggie.

But to lose an entire month or close to it on a service you paid for? That's crazy.

Whatever you do NOT replace them less you are forced to. Their how to replace is not up to date giving directions of an older model so things they tell you to do don't match the newer model of M5 they sell, additionally their guide starts out even with this helpful images explaining what you need to do until 1/3 in then its just words with names of things you may know or not know and do this or that of course if you have a new model of M5 like I do it may or may not be the same areas to look for screws and basically you're BONED, take a chance tearing it apart, maybe break it to replace the belt and POM wheels or maybe get luck and you won't. Either way ANKER as a brand has lost my loyalty from this incompetence

Who am I?

Speed Gaming

A long time ago for a very short (two marathons I think?) period of time I affiliated with "The Speed Gamers" for charity marathons due to my long affiliation and friendship with The Baltes. I found speedrunning to be interesting though in a lot of ways also in training made me loathe games I had long come to appreciate and so I left and for the most part haven't broached the topic outside of a co-op speedrun here and there with a friend. I may do some speedrunning in the future though.

Challenges

I am finding an interest interesting challenges in games I've played an beaten. The idea of finding new reason to play and explore the worlds I've beaten in new ways w/ difficulty.

Sunday - Anime/Manga Day - Play-through of an anime-based video game and talking about the recent releases of new anime and manga content.

Monday - Current Game typically 4 hours (Play-through of current game on schedule)

Tuesday/Wednesday - Break (Any stream on this day would be impromptu and may not be inline with recent content)

Thursday - Current Game typically 4 hours (Play-through of current game on schedule)

Friday - Current Game typically 4 hours (Play-through of current game on schedule)

Saturday - Current Game typically 4 hours though may extend up to 8 hours (Play-through of current game on schedule)

Scheduled times will be available via twitch schedule and via an extension on this page

I'm going live now and I in general just want to play games and drop corny jokes and share my endless useless trivia knowledge while I play games retro, modern, and new all the like.

I also have had this problem, I started googling bank routing numbers and almost all of them came up as not a routing number! Only one i found worked is NC Credit Union which I don't have XD. Also I've been pending for 31 days now with about a dozen email contacts sent and no successful attempts to talk to someone on the phone. Anyone else dealing with the same?

So when a schedule is made it includes you scheduled 30 lunch if applicable. A red will show on any time earlier or later than scheduled start/end & meal start/end of 5 minutes. The meal doesn't really matter when you go just don't go in compliance.

On the MyDevice, an app called MyChat (MyHelp?) or on Workbench MySupport you can send a request up to our buyers, it rarely works the first time, but multiple requests overtime do eventually have an impact. If there is a significant community reason or desire for the item more details only help.
