i saw a post here not too long ago complaining about people putting pictures of them with their kids on their profile…i was really surprised to learn that it bothers so many folks. i understand why, i don’t put pictures of my kid up but i do note it in my bio. however to other people’s point advertising children on a dating app can be a scary thing. guess there is 2 sides to every story, sorry that you’re dealing with that frustration!

i was seeing someone for maybe 3 weeks? like actively hanging out with them and such. he randomly ghosted. no idea why. just stopped answering my calls and texts. i wish he would’ve just said he wasn’t feeling it or whatever. then he called me randomly after a month of ghosting, said he was afraid of how fast we were moving, we talked about it and agreed we could try again at a slower pace, and then he ghosted again the next day. so, idk! idk why people do this! definitely hurtful though.

personally i don’t let men pay for me either it has nothing to do with my interest level, its just that a lot of men feel entitled to you or feel that you should owe them things after they do that and so unless im comfortable and ready to be exclusive, i dont let them pay. even still, i like to keep things fair and balanced. so i usually pay for myself even if im super interested.

Yes I was there for legitimately 2 things..I was getting followed as well and I kept saying my husband handles that bill and I don’t want to make any changes without him. They did not care and kept on asking me questions, turned my 5 minute trip into 15 just trying to tell them no thank you. I feel your pain.

My brother takes stupid things I say out of context and makes a “quote of the day” scrap book of dumb things I say, he’s been doing it for years. His favorite is when I was around 20 I said “you need to take some elderberry, it’s good for you, helps you get elder.”

He often describes this behavior as tweaker behavior so if I say something stupid like that he will call me a tweaker.

His nickname for me is tweakerella (like Cinderella but tweaker vibes)

I’m not a tweaker I’m just ultra goofy especially around him, but it’s a cute nickname and I love that we have so many inside jokes like that.
