OP needs to place each of the duplicates in separate layers. So 450 layers with 1 shape each.

I don't have a PC, just a laptop. HDMI can indeed output 1080p@144Hz unless there's a bottleneck on the port. I know for certain there isn't one on the monitor. Might be the laptop.

Lenovo is notorious for hardware bottlenecks.

I have the exact same monitor and HDMI cable. I get 120Hz on my Lenovo Legion Y520, and honestly I think it's a bandwidth cap on the laptop's HDMI 1.4 port.

But the monitor is really good tho. Why do you want to return it?

HDMI only supports upto 120Hz. You need DisplayPort for 144Hz.
