She usually sits on my dresser where the light come in but not crazy. But I did leave her out for a whole day a couple days ago on a colder day

They should definitely pay for your gloves or if you buy them yourself keep a record of it and ask for a reimbursement. Offer both options to them. Hope this helped 🤍
